Hi pyxcel, hindi pa officially na la launch sa Metro Manila yung pineapple pie. Sa CDO pa lang sya available at sa mga katabi nitong provinces. Yung pineapple po na gamit galing pa po kasi sa CDO kaya sa CDO plant po siya ginagawa. Masarap po talaga sya at healthy pa. Buti naman nagustuhan nyo and thank you for supporting our run. =)

Hello Kutkot! We already asked our race directors regarding this matter. Sabi nila usually daw pag summer 5am ang start but since medyo rainy season daw ang august, masyadong madilim daw pag 5am ang gun start. Pero pinag aaralan namin ngayon kung kakayanin na mag start ng 5am. Assembly time naman is 4:30am kaya if ever mabago gun start for 16k, we’ll email everyone na lang sa 16k category. =)

good morning po. . sa kabila po kasi usapang bandit dito mukhang tahimik :P . .oh well regarding sa bandit, during my research sa ibang bansa (forum) usapan din ito. nabasa kong isa sa mga advice, ask the race director daw kung allow magpabandit kasi minsan na daw syang pinayagan as bandit :)

ano pong stance nyo at allow po ba dito makitakbo sa rutang inihanda nyo? (but ofcourse no taking any benefits prepare for the registered runner):P

nung nalaman ko na sabay sa rexona run, napaisip ako. Pero when i compared the giveaways, registration fee, at beneficiary sa regent run nako. Ito talaga ang fun run. Already filled up the form and will submit sa runnr bukas. :)

@ jilh-ann… tama po yung ginagawa nyo… “family bonding” Hindi sapat ang pagiging mabuting puno para magkaroon ng mabubuting bunga. Mahalaga rin ang lupang pinagtamnan at kapaligirang kanilang kinalakihan…

i cannot join this race because of a previous commitment but hope that the organizer will discourage “bandits” regardless of who they are.

this is a legitimate race with a required reg fee so let us protect the interest of the law-abiding runners.

As promised… we’re registered… So accommodating po Regent Staff ng Rnnr-BGC (Ms. Mia). 4 po kami to register for 3K just this afternoon.

My other cousin will be registering pa lang po ata… she’s a pro. Sabi niya she’ll be @ 16K category daw po.

Mag-cheer din kami for my cousin sa 16K after our run.

Sana sa Rnnr-BGC magdagdag pa po ng slots kasi po last night when I inquired, 20 na lang po for 3K… Other categories po, i didn’t inquire na.

My concern lang po, just in case maubos mga slots sa mga categorie, mag allot pa po ang Regent para mas marami ang makapag-join. I have heard that others will be coming pa from the province.

quality is a relative term. what is low quality to someone may be reasonable quality to others. im not gonna argue with your opinion besides there are other races out there that you can choose from.

Question po… will you allow upgrade? Ano kaya gagawin sister ko if I upgrade hers to 16K. Ambush!High with energy eh! hahaha

feeling ko naka engraved/embossed naman yung regent label sa medal..

i just noticed…ang hirap talagang i-please ng mga runners noh? (and i wont exclude myself from it) magrerequest na sana may finisher’s medal pero pag may finisher’s medal naman, iki-criticize naman ang quality. same goes for finisher’s shirt. yes, alam ko we’re all after our hard-earned money’s worth. but let us not forget na may beneficiary din ang event na ito. if we ever feel na tinipid ang mga ilang not-so-critical stuffs like medals or finisher shirts, isipin nalang naten that it’s somehow worth it…after all, it’s still for a good cause naman.

anyways, ang common goal naten ay tumakbo, diba?! whatever deeper reasons each of us have..sabi nga nila, “walang basagan ng trip”

Madame nag register dito. I just hope and pray na di to Matulad sa springboard run last Sunday wherein sa tabo na umiinom ang runners, naubusan ng finisher shirt size, and walang Marshall. To the organizer, taya namin tiwala namin sa inyo. Nakasalalay ang name ng Regent dito.

I was a 16K runner @ Springboard. Barely halfway pa lang, ubos na ang plastic cups and/or hydration…

I can deal with Finisher shirts having probs with sizes, but please, SHE First – Health, Safety, and Environment!

totally agree with you…though there will still be posts til before the run, we really cannot blame other runners to be so demanding. For most runners po kasi, they find their money’s worth in the experience of camaradery; some, may find its worth in the training in prep for a much longer distance run; still others, may find its worth on the material things.

Dear runners (pro&beginners),
It is safe to say that the most rewarding thing we are doing here is be able to support an event with a good advocay. we should be happy na lang din po that there are orgs doing these kasi po, really so much have been neglected by the gov’t. Kaya iba, umaasa na lang sa private orgs to lend some help… financially!
We may say, if I wanted to help, eh di I’ll donate na lang personnaly… but do we actually do that? During relief giving @ typhoon victims, can we actually bring our donations @ the sites? Most likely, it will be most inconvient for us.
Run like this of Regent Foods’, help us extend help to others @ our most convinient way. In fact, when we pay the registration fee, has anyone ever computed how much was actually returned to us in the form of freebees, singlets, bibs, etc. These too have costs…the event itself, has cost… not much really will be left for the org who will benefit for this run.
However, “not much” will only multiply when many join.
Let us try to remember that no material thing will ever prove our “self-worth”. Most rewarding is that we know we worked hard for something and we did great on that something. We dont have to prove that to anybody!
I feel elated when I read posts of runners, pro&beginners alike, so excited for the race.To them, I feel they are most excited for the event itself and how fun this event will be.Many of us can actually afford to buy the products that will be given away… yet why are we still so eager pimila? Just for the enjoyment na lang naman actually.
Thank you for those who have been following this post. This goes to say lang po that we support this event from beginning til the end… no matter how this run will be.
Safe run everybody and “peace be with you” (as we Paulinians would say!)…
