sa mga may debit card like union eon card gagana po yun sa online registration, my Gf tried last night pumasok sya :) pero may additional 64php, so 964 pesos, deposit 1000php para gumana, last time kasi 900 lang dineposit ko eh kaya di pumasok, pero mas ok na option kesa sa ccard para walang charge ng card provider.

@ john bernardo try also to join the free running clinics,meron silang mga pacers doon. one is manila,if malapit ka sa roxas blvd every thurs sa ARC(a runners circle) 5K/10K, may mga sumasali din doon na pinoy fitness or kay ms jewel sa addination nila ,un check mo kasi dami sila available na araw and places and coach.

nag fill up nako ng registration for 21k @ riovanna bgc. they are still waiting for those 21k runners from leg 1. magregister na kayo sayang naman kung hindi ma complete ung medal puzzle. 1st time 21k runner lang ako all i want is the ru 1 – 3 completion para may loyalty shirt. tama na yang mga trash talk nyo walang magandang dulot yan. let us unite runners!!! peace.
@newbee, as far as i remember during RU1 2012 last march dun sa booth kung nasaan yung mga study shirt for loyalty shirt.. sinabi dun na you have to complete the 4 series including RUPM to have the loyalty shirt. ewan ko lang kung magbabago ng stand ang runrio about that. kahit hindi ka tumakbo sa longer distance basta kumpleto mo ang apat e may loyalty shirt ka.
pwede ba ako sumali dito kahit hindi ako nakasali sa RU1? newbie palang kasi ako e. :)

that’s a valid question. If I completed the series but ran only 21k in RU Phil Marathon, will I get the loyalty shirt? Or do I have to run the farthest categories in all the legs?

last year i completed the trilogy so aside sa loyalty shirt, invited ako sa awards night (take note yung awards night para lang sa nakatapos ng farthest distance 21,21,32k), sa awards night may additional medal ata un tapos shirt. .
about sa RUPM, IMO, di naman na siguro need mag 42k para maka aatend/mainvite for awards night kasi TRILOGY lang naman. . yung medal sa RUPM kasi parang additional lang un para magkaroon ng holder yung 3 medals from trilogy (so optional na siguro yun)

Yeah, i’m also curious about the expo. If its on a different date from the race itself, that would make 4 trips to and from MOA (for race and expo) a bit of a hassle to some specially to runners coming from outside Manila like CALABARZON and Central Luzon (Bulacan, Bataan, Pampanga, Zambales, Tarlac)
online and regular registration dates should’ve been the same. mangyayari nyan, pag pumunta ka sa regular registration date, ubos na agad ang slots.

guys na taga labas ng manila area: email or call runrio to send via lbc or jrs na lang your race kit materials, parang hassle yata yun para sa inyo, yung tropa ko kasi taga baguio pa. or email runrio kung pede pakuha na lang sa mga kakilala scan or print n lang ang receipt :) basta sa kakilala nyo ipakuha ok?
tsk tsk tsk…. I knew it will come. This run is too commercialized. Dati pag register mo, on the spot makukuha mo na ang race kit. At ngayon sa expo kuno pa makukuha? I feel sorry doon sa mga nagregister na pero malalayo ang place nila. Runners are being forced to come at said expo to enticed runners & buy their goods which usually available in other running stores (walang pinagkaiba yan for sure). I bet products na hindi mabenta sa stores nila makikita nyo dito. Runrio/ Unilab your strategy is good for business but not for runners. So wannabe’s, TH & runner enthusiasts, do you feel you’re being fooled?

no. if i’d say yes then i’m fooling myself going to Singapore Marathon (twice!) and claiming my race kit on their event expo

i do wish our running events will become of the many reasons why our pinoy and non-pinoy friends will drop by here
our local races (runrio, et al) are very competitive in terms of planning and logistics compared to international races
