Earth Run 2012 – Results Discussion and Photos!

Congrats Earth Run! at Php400 may loot bag pa tas ok ang hydration and… 22K ang takbo =) may pasobra pa. Congrats ulit =)

Pretty enjoyable run, lots of water stations. A little low on marshals, and got lost along the way (my fault mostly; came late). New PR too :)

Overall, a positive run that should set the stage for a much more exciting and better next year! :) Hope to see some report on the cause from the organizers after everything’s done.

P.S. Excellent race pricing. Thank you for giving Manila runners an affordable run to participate in. Good luck on future races!

Congrats to the organizers of Earth Run 2012! Very organized and very affordable. This is how all runs should be priced. Lots of hydration stations with bananas too :-)

About the event… Id have to say that i have participated in events more pricey than this and is less organized, so, for the 350 pesos, it was all worth it :-) salamat, more same-priced runs to come :-)

I agree with the others that it is organized run ! Also with bonus 2.18k as miCoach has recorded. What I missed are Energy drink ? Looks like no sponsor for that ? Anyway, Congrats to a sucessful run !

Earth Run was a real good run! Hindi lang masyado nagbabantay ang mga marshalls. Ang banana, not equally distributed.
For the hydration stations, very good marami.

after all negative reactions about distributions of wrong sizes of singlet , the organizers proved to us runners that they can still manage an event like this….Hindi nila tayo pinahiya….

this run proved them all wrong. di kailangan mahal para quality and run. at di rin assured na quality ang run pag mahal ang registration.

EarthDay Run was fun! nakakainis lang talaga yung mga nagkalat na papercups sa daan, yung mga runners minsan di ko maintindihan eh.. tumakbo para sa “earth” pero walang disiplina pa din sa Basura. may montik pang may nadulas sa balat ng saging kanina. hindi naman ganun kahirap ilagay sa basurahan eh..

good job. very organized, lots of hydration station. kahit water lang, malamig naman at yun ang importante, may saging pa. huwag na maghanap ng energy drink kasi walang sponsor at mura lang reg fee.

Registered 22.10km on my Nike GPS! Still had a great time! Mainit nalang talaga. Sana next time pag April and May runs 4am or earlier nalang po and start for 21k. :-)

had a wonderful run kanina..sarap kahit na namaga na nman yung injury ko sa left foot and sakit ng katawan.. my 2nd time to run 21k.. pahinga na muna hehe.. congrats to adevents for a very affordable yet wonderful race..

Ganda ng medal! :D Just woke up from resting and I just realized it’s the shiniest one I have so far haha.

Good Job sa mga organizers. Hindi na tubig ang hinihingi ko sa hydration stations kung hindi YELO… napakaraming YELO sa fun run na ito. Salamat sa free shower from water trucks along the way, buhay ang dugo :)

Its my 1st Official BAREFOOT Run 16k and i enjoyed it…great run well organized.. My mga portalets along buendia st.. Kudos!

Ganda ng medal, sayang nga lang at sa 10k lang ako nag reg….kala ko kc di ko kakayanin ang 16k kc 3rd run ko pa lang at at puro 5k lang yung nauna….after running 10k kanina i realized na kakayanin ko ang 16k…..

e kaya nman pala mag organize na pang masa ang presyo pero sulit ang takbo e dapat ganitong event ang manahin mo UNILAB ACTIVE.. pati presyo nyo nio active din..hehe Congrats Adevents see nxt yr earth run.

Panalo yung race malamig na tubig, medal, loot bag pa! is it true na 22k yung actual distance for 21k? Medyo naiba rin yung route for 21k kumanan sya dun malapit sa turf papuntang gate1. Pero masaya pa rin naman and new PR :). Thanks Again!

I had my 21k debut this year in PSE Bull Run also organized by Adevent’s Manila… All I can say, pag Adevent’s event, it is well organized at an affordable price like PSE Bull Run and Earth Run… Congratz Adevent’s for the success of this event, one of the cheapest well organized running event this 2012, looking forward for the next upcoming event… More power and God Bless!! :)

yep i’m agree with jason cruz, this medal is the most shiniest sa rack ko hehe.

mahaba din pasensya ng water crew kahit yung ibang runners eh masyadong nagmamadali sa pag kuha ng tubig.

ang pinaka gusto ay yung paper cups at least magiging dry at masusunog yun, earth run talaga! thank you advent!

May bonus pa na almost 1k…Kaya pala sabi ko parang mas mahaba, but still i broke my PR :-) A good bang for the buck run event…Hope there will be more runs like this na hindi kami mamulubi sa mahal…

ok naman ang patakbo ng earth run,daming water station,sumablay lang sa medic,daming na spring kanina na di naasis or nagtitiis na matapos gang finishline kahit na makirot na ang mga paa,bukod dun subra sa ruto ung pinatakbo nila 3 kaming naka gps sa mga kasama kong tumakbo kanina ang total is almost 25km ang resulta sa mga GPS namin,kawawa naman yung mga first time na tumakbo ng 21km alam ko di sila nag enjoy kanina,di fun run ang nangyari kanina kundi penetensya….

thank you i was able to run here. no PR mode for me pero sulit naman. my 2nd earth run experience. i like the medal. very organized. :D

21km route was long by 800 as per my Soleus, one on my best runs! nabeat ko yung target time ko by 9 mins, and beat my previous P.R. by 17 mins, astig!

suggestion for next year run: interval between running distances should be at least 15 minutes. magulo ang 5 min. naghalo-halo ang 3, 5, 10, 16 & 21 km runners after 30 minutes… may mga naligaw.

16k is actually 18.5k based on my garmin tracker. Medyo mahaba nga. Pero for 350, pwede na ang run na to!

It would have been perfect if kilometer signs were put up at intervals of every 2.5 kilometers. Nevertheless, kudos to a well organized run. Congrats !

tingin ko tama naman yung ditance eh..same lang naman yung ornigazer ng bullrun pati earth run. yung bullrun 2012 halos kulang ng 700 to 800 meter.. yung earth run same lang ng route ng 21k pero dinagdagan nila yung distance.. tyak alam ng mga tumakbo ng bullrun na nyo na kulang yung distance… thanks u sa organizer sulit yung 350 khit walang energy drink mahalaga ndi kinapos nsa tubig. sana laging ganito yung mga run mura lagi.. wag gawin negesyo.. hehehe next run ko ng 21k sa greenfield see u there…..kaka register ko lang kanina =)

Tripled checked the race results. Went over it multiple times. Still, our Bib #’s didn’t match with our names. It doesn’t hurt to take some time to publish an “official” race result. Slow Accuracy is better than quick inaccuracy. ‘nyway.. ‘Still enjoyed the run.

eto ang may karapatan mag trilogy! di tulad ng iba jan, sobra nang mahal maningil… it’s final, di na po ako tatakbo pag more than P500 na ang fee. Kudos to Earth Run 2012, Greenpeace, and Stryder!!!
