Nice run, got a new pr for 10k, marami rin ngo’s na nagpatakbo sa 10k advocacy run, at isa ako sa nabiyayaan ng race kit ng isa sa participating NGO’s for the 10k run. Congratz sa organizer at sa mga NGO’s na nagparticipate because of them maraming runners ang napagkalooban ng free race kits for the 10k advocacy run.

ok naman yung FIC race today @ BGC, over all maganda naman sya, ang medyo di lang magandang part is anticipated na yung quantity ng runners at pinag sama parin nila ang route ng lower category sa 10km category nag mukhang embudo ng runners yung area ng 34th st heading to gate one at pabalik, sana kung ganun pala gagawin eh both side of the road ang kinuha ng runrio hindi kasi comfortable mag pacing pag ganun kadami ang runners lalonat ang daming new runner sa 3km and 5km category kanina. @nd issue yung marshall sa may I.S.M sinabihan na ng mga runners na madaming 10km runners ang nag cucut bago dumating sa right turn heading to total bldg(philplans)at most of them is complimentary ng mga advocacy run, ang sagot lang ng marshall e trip nila eh. una hindi ba kayat nandun ang marshal is to guide and ensure that the run will be equal opportunity to all and ensure fair run result? sana sa mga runners na nag sasasali sa mga complimentary maisip nyo na kung hindi nyo kaya yung category wag nyo na kunin yung compli pamigay nyo na lang sa ibang runners na deserving talaga, nakaka bwesit isipin kasi na kayo na ang compli kayo pa mandurugas, kung hindi nyo kaya mag pa pull out kayo sa race at kung feelingera kayo na kaya nyo pwes nanindigan nyo.

over all aside sa two factor na ito ok naman ang race at ang pag oorganize ng FIC. result and pic lang sana runrio.inc ma ishare ng maaga

tama. isa kami sa late nagstart. almost 15-18 minutes na after ng 3K gunstart kami nakastart pero may marshalls pa rin at dami saging, powerade at may gatas pa (bawal nga lang sakin at baka maghalohalo na sa tiyan ko) :-) may raffle pa na LED TV, HDMI player at 5.1 speaker system. d nga lang nanalo. kudos sa organizers at sponsors.

had a very nice run this morning. tons of photographers along the road. there’s even a photo wall integrated in the 5km/10km route and a red carpet to boot

hydration was spot on. very sufficient water and sports drink along the route. very long tables with ready-to-drink/douse cups. even got a bottle at the post-event area

coach rio was at the finish line area and very game to interact with the runners especially with the never-ending photo ops with the afroman. to those who got good feedback (or complain), he was just a tap away

cant wait for the race result to come out. forgot to take note of my time since i came out running with the 3k runners. also i accidentally deleted the time on my watch (bummer)

there was a lady who got into an accident. was guessing she slipped due to the wet road. good thing an ambulance was ready and available

para sakin tama lang ang number of participants. masaya pag hindi crowded haha. bumabahang powerade at tubig pa.

ung sa route marks lang.. hindi every kilometer may mark o hindi ko lang talaga napansin? hehe, di ko tuloy alam kung ilang km nalang. ang napansin ko nalang ung 8km na ko haha :)

FIC Run is sulit na din. andun pa si BATMAN cute! the FOX bubbles thingy floating in the air ka-elibs haha. and their hosts…. british accent, eh?

definitely will join the next FIC Run… wag lang mag taas ng reg fees ha. haha!

Ang balita sa kin, Coach Rio waived his prize and instead, gave it to the 2nd placer for the 10K categ.

sarap ng takbo yesterday. dami marshal. dami rin water station. well organized. Quite good result na rin…Got pics with coach rio! Kudos!!!!

This is my 1st race for the year 2012. Di pa rin nag level up! Still at 10k.
