  3. Best organizer ever!

Sana alaht ganito nakikinig sa runners.

I already registered for a 12K run at Toby Shangrila yesterday.

    Kudos to SLMC

  4. @Incountry: Yes marerecord naman lahat ng finishers and their ranking pero hindi instant ang complete race results like the timing chips. It might take us 2-3 days to filter out the final list before we can upload it.

    Thank you for participating.

  5. i went to RUNNR BGC kanina para mag register for 6k kaso wala na palang singlet,.but still nakapag register parin ako kahit walng singlet,…kase i believe that the money will be use sa nangangailangan na mga kababayan natin,..

  7. Imanni (organizer) – isang maliit na request or suggestion lang po… sana po ay madagdagan nyo yung mga marshalls since napakarami po ng turning point paikot-ikot sa BGC ang there’s a possibility na may maligaw or wag naman sana mandaya… kahit po sa mga TURNING POINT po ay mas mabuti… regards :-)

  9. @limiteDrunner – Noted and thank you po, will assure you na hindi po tayo makukulangan sa route marshals, directional signage, kilometer signage and hydration station. Salamat po sa inyong lahat

  10. @Cutie: Yes you are still entitled
@Roger: thank you for the support, all proceeds will go to our indigent patients who are suffering from Blue Eyes
@limitEDrunner: Thank you for the concern, we really appreciate your comment. We will have marshals who will not just guide you but cheer you on route =)

  11. @InCountry
sure, pwede ka ring magdala ng own hydration but based on my working experience with the race org, not to worry, magiging sapat po ang ating water supply.

  12. @cyanide09 – yes barcode po yung nakalagay sa bib#, accurate din naman po ito… ang babasahin lang po ng system ay yung time start mo at finish time… so may official time pa rin naman tayo na makikita… goodluck sa lahat kita-kit’s :-)

  13. @InCountry: We use a system in calculating the water requirements for a race based on the number of runners. Everything that we do is calculated. There will be 6 Water Stations and 3 Pocari Stations including the finishline. There will also be a banana station at the finish line.

  16. yes… it’s saturday 5am uwian na naman galing sa nakakapagod na trabaho sa gabi… kita-kit’s tomorrow guys… enjoy running! :-)

  17. I registered last Wednesday and I went home with only a receipt. Pero no worries sana lang d ako mahirapan tom kunin race number ko.

It’s all for the benefit pero race bib would be a good souvenir, ;)

    See you all there.

  18. Had so much fun! It appears na nagkaproblem ulit with the finishers shirt. Apparently, some of it ata went to the “promo bibs”. Anyway Dr. Jing promised that everybody will get their shirts naman. It was a well organized run! Hydration stations were ample and may banana pa! Marshals were everywhere, greeting and cheering the runners as they went by. Isa lang problem was the lack of portalets along the route. Yun lang ang issue ko but everything was spot on!

Isa pa pala, the raffle prizes were awesom! May 50k worth of insurance, newton shoes, soleus watches, derma package, dual sim phones and pack of brown rices raffled away! Too bad that the organizers didn’t have enough time kasi sa latter part na nabigay ung mga prizes. They even went by bib na lang just to give them all away.
    Great run! Thanks docs!

  19. Thank you so much guys for joining the Eye Run. I enjoyed it myself as I actually joined and run the 6K race distance.

This morning we really hope to give everyone the finishers shirt for the 12K but it is limited to only the top 250 finishers. As for the lootbags we sincerely apologize if there were participants who are not able to receive it… As a charity event we are limited also with the extent sponsorship given to us (To which we are very thankful to our dear sponsors for providing our runners the treats and giveaways)

Anyways, the real essence of this run was to help the cause of St. Luke’s International Eye Institute which is to provide the Corneal transplants for their patient beneficiaries and now with your help we are all able to change a person’s life by giving them a chance to have a better sight. We owe this to you and with that we sincerely thank the Filipino running community.
