  4. Trinoma lang ang nearest place we can register from North provinces…nawala pa…tumaas na registration fee – mapapamahal pa kami before and after the run because of transportation…sana po mag organize na lang RunRio dito mismo sa Northside Bulacan or Pampanga !!! North UNILAB 1,2,3…

  9. Mahal ng 21K ngayon compare last year RU3. Bukod sa nag tataasan ang bilihin eh magpapakasal na si Coach Rio (balita ko this year). Bubuo na sya ng pamilya kaya intindihin nyo na lang si coach.

    Malay nyo baka imbitahin tayong lahat sa kasal nya….=)

    Coach baba mo naman reg. fee.. presyong kaibigang walang iwanan.. Goodluck and best wishes na din… =)

  18. nagmahal nga ang reg fees, grabe! sana bumawi na lang sila sa pamamagitan ng magagandang medals, finisher shirts, at maraming giveaways. not to mention efficient logistics kung matuloy nga ang point-to-point route ng 21k.

    based on my experience with runrio races, if they are providing good service naman(through well-organized events and so on) then go lang! quality does come at a premium at times.

  22. Sana pwede mag Reg na wala ng kasamang singlet, para discounted price. Finisher kit lang naman importante. madami din hindi ngsusuot ng singlet during the race. para makatipid lang. heheh

    Hindi na Coach si Rio, Businessman na sya.

  23. kelangan kapag dumadami ang running enthusiast tumataas din ang regi fee?. Di ba dapat nga mas mababa kasi bulk na ang pagpapagwa ng singlets and giveaways.

  26. Coach Rio, para namang di ka nanggaling sa hirap kung mag taas ng reg fee.. sana intindihin mo din ung mga maliliit ang income na gustong makasamali, hindi lahat ng runners e mayaman….
    Last Jan 15 tumakbo kami sa UPLB sa KARUNUNGAN 200 reg ng 21k may magandang medal na..

  29. yup nagtaas na nga, pero meron tong bib holder na kasama, I think 100+ din ang price nito sa market kaya parang ganun din compared to last year’s price, singlet is a combi of blue and orange…la pang other details as per the Riovana staff, check na lang siguro sa website for updates and further details…to be fair kay Coach Rio, di lang naman sya nagdedecide regarding sa reg fees, baka nga it’s more of Unilab’s decision pa

  30. guys,sa 21k runners,pumunta ako sa Tobys MOA kahapon to inquire,WALANG FINISHERS SHIRT..bib holder lang at medal lang..nagulat din ako sa MAHAL ng registration fees..kaya nag alinlangan ako kung tatakbo pa ko dito..tsskk

  37. I saw the unique medals for 21K. Finish the 3 legs(21k/21k/32k) and you’ll get all 3 medals that complete a puzzle and form a bigger circle. nice. kakaiba nga. mahal nga. pero pagipunan na lang natin guys. mukhang sulit naman. me libre pa bib belt.

On INCREASING REG FEES– i doubt if this is even coach rio’s idea, knowing that unilab is the main benefactor of this event.i feel that unilab unabashedly banks on marketing spins that allow them to rake in millions.notice there’s no charitable institution involved in any of their runs?do correct me on that if im wrong..that’s how sales-marketing oriented unilab is (just my opinion, nobody’s forced to agree).while we pounce on rio for these highly commercialized runs, i feel that he too is a victim of sales-hungry, err greedy companies out to make profit out of runners.rio should stood by runners’ interests.as a runner himself, he should know that some/many people run NOT just for the heck of it, but for very personal reasons, and sadly money/finances is slowly dampening the passion. unilab,forget not that people have the ability to perceive true intentions kahit papano.if youd like to sustain the running community (which i doubt is the intention to begin w/), this may not be the right direction.ohwell, this is just me, i dont know about other runners.again, no one’s forced to agree w/ this humble opinion.

  44. I thought their mission is to encourage more people to run & embrace this kind of lifestyle, but seems runrio races are taking adavantage of the current running boom. P900 for a 21k run? Gastos napo yan for 1 week ng ordinary office employee. Guys just choose wisely on joining fun runs, parang nawiwili na ang mga running event organizers. Sa taas ng reg. fee, tinipid pa size ng finisher’s medal (1/3 n lng ng previous size) & the quality of singlet papanget ng papanget. But still…keep on running guys!

  47. wag na kayo magreklamo sa route ng run, yun na pinaka ok na kalsada eh.. dun kayo sa cubao, padaanin nyo yung ruta sa overpass na mapanghi para ma challenge kayo. panay reklamo

  48. for a 10k run magbabayad ka ng 800, ok lang kasi runrio naman ang nag organize and yung mga sponsors nila is related talaga to running like timex, asics, powerade, etc.kaya nga magaganda freebies eh.

    aminin natin mahal yung reg fees pero we dont want to miss a runrio organized run di ba? kasi alam natin masaya saka maayos talaga yung event.

Maawa naman kayo pedicab driver na katulad ko na nahihilig sa pagtakbo ,sana naman po bumaba yung registration fee sa 21K . . .Isang linggong pasada ko po sa pedicab yung P900 sir Rio bago ko maipon yung pag register ko . . .Babaan nyo naman po pikaw lamok kamahal na ngayun last year lang po P750 lang eh :(

  56. ayos ang mga pakulo ng medal..balita ko bukod sa ang takbo eh BGC to MOA, pag dating mo finish line eh aakyat ka pa ng puno para makuha ang medal mo,,sa RU2 naman sisisid ka dagat para sa 2nd medal at sa RU3 lipad ka buwan para makumpleto..hehehe..peace..bottom line,ganyan na kamahal at kahirap tumakbo ngayon..

  57. maybe runrio should come up with a promo where you get 1 free race kit by yearend for participation of any 4-6 runrio races within the year… or how about 10+2 for the fanatics out there…? do come up with something to keep runners motivated… i can still take the price increases as long as i do 1 race a month… i’ve been hearing people saying that running will just be a fad and reach its saturation point until interest begins to wane… i

  63. we are 10 in our group! pag nagpa reg. kmi edi maliwanag n 9thou yun! we decided n mag beach n lang tapos roadrun, edi ok p new route n ok p ang scenery! BGC nanaman e halos every wk. jan n ang takbuhan.. haaay! isip-isip mga runners wag magpapaloko! up to now wala p din yung promised ng unilab n post kit! kagaya ng baller and post picture..

    I know it’s bad but I secretly wish that it bites Unilab and Runrio in the a** and they do not meet their return on investment.

    I think we all kind of agree that they need us runners more than we need them.

    SHUTTLE SERVICE:

    We will be providing a SHUTTLE SERVICE for 21km participants. The service will have the SM Mall of Asia as its pick-up point and will bring the 21km runners to the 21km starting line at the BGC.

    Why SM Mall of Asia as pick-up point? Consideration was given to 21km runners who may have other members of the family who will be running a shorter distance so SM Mall of Asia is a more feasible originating point. Besides, there are more available parking areas there than in BGC.

    More details and mechanics for the Shuttle Service will be posted once available.

    BAGGAGE AREA/SERVICE:

    Baggage Services will be available at the BGC race area in the form of ROVING BAGGAGE SERVICE VANS which will be on standby prior to race start and will move to the SM Mall of Asia to bring these checked-in baggages to the designated Baggage Claim Areas.

    ehh kung magmumula din nman ung ibang 21k runners sa MOA pra sunduin ng shuttle.. pwede keang iwan nlng din nila ung baggage nila sa MOA? hnd ung iiwan din nila sa service vans? tama ba ung pagkakaintindi ko? :)

  76. I won’t run on this event, masyadong mahal, ano nangyari sa Runrio? bakit masyado commercialize na ang run na ito tapos hindi naman ganun kaganda ang quality ng singlet, it should be health beneficial and not for financial.

  77. kung ganyan ang trend ng reg fee ng runrio races mukhang di na ako makaka-join sa mga races nila. masyadong mahal na! i wont quit running though. private running na lang sa amin.
    Sana magkaroon pa ng maraming run tulad ng sa St. Peter… mura na (P200 only), very much enjoy pa.

    1. dating 750 ngayon 900 – considering na sponsored to ng Unilab, which is a huge company eh bakit nag taas pa? para saan pa ang sponsorship?

    2. same old singlet design, only uglier color scheme.

    3. dati isang buo yung medal, ngayon 1/3 na lang. nag increase ng rates pero nag bawas sa metal?

    4. route not comfortable sa mga may dalang kotse na ipapark sa BGC

  84. siguro mga 15 to 20 or lagpas pa na BUS ang kailangan para maihatid ang mga 21k na RUNNERS papuntang BGC kung ang tatakbo sa 21k ay nasa 1,500 na runners,,,

  88. Tatakbo na ako dito. For sure, may increase na naman next year. So first and last time ko nang kukumpletuhin ang Runrio Trilogy. At least maganda yung souvenir na medal. Proof that you completed the whole race…

  89. Sya nga pala last RU3 me higit ata sa limang car owners ang nabiktima ng bukas kotse sa MOA parking lot. Sana mas secure na parking space naman para sa nagmamahal na pa takbuhan… ma coordinate nyo sana ang issue na to sa MOA management din.. at sana mag mura ang mga patakbo nyo.. peace tayo mga repapips…=)

    nakakalungkot, pamahal ng pamahal ang mga registration fees… true na maganda ang event pag mahal yung fees, daming freebies, energy drinks, foods, etc. pero mahalaga nga ba ang mga ito para sa mga runners? para sa akin ang mahalaga ay ang medals at finisher shirts, then during the race yung hydrations, marshalls, ambiance ng route, and safety ng runners. usually din, ang mga freebies may kanya kanyang booth pero hindi naman ito lahat napupuntahan ng participants dahil sa haba ng pila, okay sana kung lahat ng freebies pinagsasama-sama na lang at isang bigayan na lang sa runners after the race.

    ang nakakalungkot pa, sa pagmahal ng registration fees baka magkaroon ito ng domino effect sa iba pang darating na race event and eventually mas maging affected ang mga low budgeted runners.

    nung nag start akong mag run last year, sabi ko maganda tong sports na to, walang boundaries, may mayaman, may mahirap, may bata may matanda, kahit ano pwede, ang aim lang tumakbo, maging healthy, mag enjoy sa race and route, and be credited for their accomplishment.

    may mga events naman na reasonable price and yet satisfying, like, PSE Bull Run, EmpoweRun organized by UP Student for a good cause pa yun, then yung Sendong Run, ang saya ng race na yun, ang mura ng fees, pero dami rin hydrations at nakatulong pa sa sendong victims.

    some here may say or think na puro ako reklamo, or may say na kung ayaw mo edi wag kang sumali…

    pero hindi yun ang point, worry ko lang baka mawala na yung camaraderie among runners, baka dahil sa pag taas ng registration fees, boundaries among rich and low budgeted runners might widen the gap. Yes it is business, pero wag naman sanang maging greedy dahil affected dito ay ang running community. Unless ang sports na eto ay pang mayaman na lang :(

    yeah, nahahati s’ya sa tatlo..but pag pinag buo po kaya gaanong kalaki?

    alam naman po namin na well organized po talaga pag RUNRIO ang organizer pero wag naman po masyadong mahal..
    since yung “bib holder” daw po pala ang naka-mahal sa reg fee, sana may option ang mga tao kung kukuha ng bib holder or not..
    kung hindi kukuha, P700 nalang sana ang reg fee at kung kukuha eh di P900..
    may mga bib holder na po kasi kami..
    it seems na hindi na po ito FUN RUN kundi FUND RUN na..
    gosshhh..
    be considerate enough to all the runners who want to join this event..
    wag po masyadong mahalan ang reg fee..

  93. Di na ba gagamitin ang reusable timing chip from last year? Nag-register ako kanina, di naman sila nagtanung kung me reusable chip na ako. Dati-rati, kinukuha nila yung number ng chip at i-e-enter sa database.

  97. Haha puro kayo negative pwede naman kayo di tumakbo o mamili kayo ng run na mas mua.marami naman dyan..Subok na ang runrio kaya naniniwala ako na prepared na sila sa gagawin nila.tsaka sa mga 21k may sasakyan galing moa to bgc.sa moa pa din assembly.
