May confirmation letter ba na sesend sa e-mail after you’ve paid the fee? sabi kasi ng teller wait ko na lang confirmation sa e-mail ko… ano need na paper for claiming the kits? thanks peeps

I registered early feb and paid feb 28, dalawa kme, we didn’t get any confirmation email, so I emailed the contact email which is below

@ice, kahapon lang din kame nag pa register, madame pang 5K category kahapon. 3K talaga wala na. Ewan ko nga bakit sa wibsite ng BDO eh close na yung 3K at 5K. Pero sa onsite merun pang 5K kahapon.
Ganda ng Singlet neto, kaya lang yung medal medyo dissapointed ako kasi gawa sa plastic, plus walang timing chip yung race bib kundi bar codes lang.

Question sa singlet. Tama ba ung sizing chart? Parang ang haba naman ng 43 inches na singlet and then 30 inches sa chest? :)

I just claimed my race packet. It was a disaster. Haha! Pumila ako for almost 2 hours to think na tumakas lang ako sa work ko. Unorganized.

just took the chance if I can get it even my sched is tomorrow… nakuha ko naman but you need a lot of patience kasi dahil medyo mabagal ang processing nila.

slight overview of the process:

– there will be 4 lanes; single line each (3K, 5K, 10K & 15K)

– they will verify your ref. no. in their laptop; get the singlet at the back; list down you name in the paper; then you’ll countersign it. (so kung ang nauna sa inyo ay group ang kukunin better to have a lot of patience)

– If you will claim multiple race category; better to have a companion… di nila ina allow na makuha mo ang racekit ng 3K kung nasa 10K lane ka, you need to fall in line again in the 3K lane after you get your 10K race packet…

mahirap talaga kapag sa online registration ka, dami hassle,

sa store registration mas okay dahil complete race kit na agad ang makukuha mo (depende sa patakbo or organizer)

nag try din kasi ako dito magpareg ng online, sa 10k pero di pa ako nag bayad, hanggang nanabalitaan ko na meron pala sa R.O.X. kaya dun na lang ako nag pareg, wala ka ng pilang aasahan pa, kuha ko agad race kit ko, di ba mas okay?

@gary: napaka-descent mo naman “medyo mabagal” pa…e di ba talaga namang mabagal at di organized

hindi ba dapat mas prioritized yung mga nag-online registration dahil tayo yung pumila sa bangko ng kahaba-haba para magbayad para diyan. Sa totoo lang di ko alam kung ano mas matagal kung yung pinila ko sa bangko or yung pinila ko kanina pagkuha ng race kit but one thing’s for sure pareho akong nakatayo at naghihintay.

sa ROX sandali lang makukuha na nila yung race kit ng walang hassle… kung tutuusin in-announce lang nila ang store registration nito lang, samantalang tayo bayad na february pa lang.tsk!tsk!tsk!

sana lang maayos sa mismong race day, baka kasi malamang niyan pila na naman sa pagkuha ng finishers’ shirt.

to BDO and Tri N’ Motion there is always room for improvement… sana po ma-improve sa mga susunod na races niyo.

wow pagkuha pa lang ng race kit parang adventure run na pupunta ka sa lobby ng building sasakay ng elevator para pumunta sa walkway papunta sa kabilang building tapos sasakay uli ng elevator papuntang basement. tapos magulong pag release ng kit. dahil palipat lipat ng inaasikaso yung pinagabutan mo ng mga papeles mo. ayyy sana ang actual race maayos.

sobrang di accessible sa lahat yung claiming area paano na lang yung ibang malayo sa Makati.Tapos parking mahirap pa.

Akala ko close na yung 5K and 3K tapos may ngparegister pa kahapon doon.

ask ko lang po kung timed po yung race sa 25? kc wla pong timing chip eh? thank you po. :)

Papa-register plang ako bukas, as in last day, sana umabot pa ako, R.O.X. magtira kayo kahit isang 15km para sakin, see you guys.. Hay.

suggest ko lang sa BDO ORGANIZER, sa finisher shirt na ibibigay after ng run, small, meduim, large, and extra large, na dapat mag kahiwalay ang booth, para hindi gaanong humaba ang pila, gaya ng ginawa ng HSBC last year.

got my race kit this morning, no hassle at all and i like the race shirt! =)

BDO Organizers, per experience po, the previous run i joined run out of finisher’s shirt, kasi it was not given to runners who deserved it, me miscommunication ata between the organizer and staff na naka-assign to give it away. Sana po, this wont happen to your event.

as far as i know they have booth on the race day. for them to release the racekits of those you are unable to get their kit on the release dates.

@ organizer pls ans if pwedeng sa race day na mag register. no tym to roam around like sa nababasa kong proseso na ginawa nyo sa mga registrants. since sinabi nyo na pwede na nila ma-claim ang race kits sa mismong event. ok this is a common sense 4 sure magkaroon kayo on spot but need assurance,tnx. tnx. tnx.

an event last year made it by giving claim stubs as they cross the finish line. on another fun run, they simply handed the medals immediately =)

Participants shall be issued one (1) Race Kit, composed of bar coded race bib… hindi naman nila sinabing race chip diba? Read nyo kasi nga muna details sa taas bago kayo magalit sa BDO. Saka jusme, bangko naman yan ndi naman nila career yan. Tsaka ang gusto lang naman nila makatulong… tsk tsk… haiz!!!

may raffle stub sa bib.. so san ihuhulog un? and ano ang up for grabs?

the medals will be given to the first 50 or 100 finish line crossers (different from non-cheating finishers) depending on category? Naku I have a bad feeling there will be lots of cheaters (lane switching) so they can get the medals. I hope the marshalls will have their eyes peeled for that

sana next time for those nagorganize. please make sure na susundin ung registration ng mga runners. kasi hindi namin nakuha ung size ng singlet namin na nakareg. tapos wala ng pardible. pano naman namin ididikit un. NAGBAYAD NAMAN KAMI NG TAMA!

The BDO fun run was good. Wished I’ve known about it earlier and joined. [Although conflict sched bec i’m a sponsor nga pala]. May singlet na, may mga freebies pa. And also finisher’s t-shirt for all finishers and medal for 1st 50 or 100 finishers. Sulit yung reg fee. Thank you all for joining. I heard 2.7M was raised by 5000 registrants. Big help for Sendong victims.

Ansama ng result ng race, una pa lang sa singlet d na nasunod ang kulay, ang gun start late na nagumpisa, ung last two staions walang water, may nadaanan pa akong babae pinulikat naka upo sa gilid ng daan ala man lang medic, ang result ng race ansagwa! Alang chip! Nililista lang ang mga dumadaan! Worth ba sa 750php yan? And until now walang photos… Grabe kayo.. Tsk tsk
