I have a question.
Can the 22k(ers) and 11k(ers) leave after they are done with their run?:)
To the organizers, may we have the full details soon, ultra runners from countries like Hongkong and Europe are asking about additional info on the TNF. Theyr’re wondering why the full details of the TNF is not out yet, unlike in the other TNF100s.
These details are needed for travel & accommodation, and preparation.

@running stick: thanks for the info regarding cut-off time. This is my first TNF, siguro matapos ko naman before the cut-off. Sana same lang trail with Corregidor, I finished 2 hrs and 25 mins and this was my first 21K =)
Agree with macky, i bought Total Fitness mag and got discount when I registered in Glorieta last week in TNF store. Wala pa ako nakuha na race kit, they will just call or text me when I can pick it up. =)

guys, for someone running 50K here, kelangan self-sufficient na ung runner from the starting line to the finish line with water and food (meals?)
would you encourage or discourage a 50K trail run for someone who’s been running 21K for the past year, but never a full marathon? :)

hello … sana po may extension ng registration kahit until this week sa mga TNF stores. unable to register dahil po sa schedules before & during the holy week. malaking bagay po ito sa mga runners na gustong mag trail runs and sa baguio pa. i am sure meron pa rin iba na gustong mag register, sayang naman ang chance. kaya naman nyong ihandle ang runners based on your previous races… please reconsider. thank you very much & more power…

The 22k race was just 13.5km. Sayang biyahe frm manila!
Is Dennis telling the truth? Was it just 13.5K? Cuz, I want to agree. It didn’t feel like 22k at all. I felt like it was just 15k. No wonder, I had no cramps nor injuries.
yup, for all we know its 22k, how come its just almost 14k??????First time ko po naman na sumali ng trail run at beginner din sa 21K..
yeah my gps tracked around 15kms only. Seem they shortened it in the last minute ‘due to technical and safety concerns’. Seems they cut the portion that went from Happy Hollow up to Country Club road. Kaya parang hindi official checkpoint yung sa Happy Hollow. Naglagay lang sila ng tao dun at the last minute :)

sana sa 100k na lang kayo sumali kung mukhang nabitin kayo sa 22k…Mapa-road or trail run, puro na lang reklamo…wg na lang kayo sumali kung puro kayo reklamo wala naman pumipilit sa nyo na sumali eh…pano nyo naman nalaman na nagcut ng route?…i think the organizer will inform all the runners what ever changes they will make if it is for the safety of the runners…if you want to clear it out, then talk to the organizer, let them explain it to you…
I know they shortened the route because:
– my GPS read 15kms, not 22km. Others confirm as well that they are reading 14-15kms only.
– Comparing my GPS route vs. the course they published, there is a portion missing
– The TNS website was updated and now clearly say they shortened the route.
Pag bumili ka ng t-shirt at bitin, wala rin naman pumipilit sa yo bumili pero mag re-reklamo ka di ba?
I think ganun din sa kahit anong event na salihan mo. Nagbayad ka and you expect a certain level of service for what you paid, lalo na pag mahal ang reg fee. Otherwise bakit pa nga? Pwede ka naman tumakbo on your own, pero you pay the reg fee so that may support in terms of marshals, aid stations, closed routes, etc.
Hindi naman ako nagwawala sa nangyari. The organizers do have the right to change the course for technical reasons, although parang last last minute talaga nangyari, dahil yung isang checkpoint as in may isang tao na nakatayo lang (parang at gunstart sinabihan na lang sya na tumayo dun).
I just wanted to clarify lang naman ano nga nangyari. Siyempre medyo nakaka dismaya kasi nag train ka to run and finish a certain distance. So parang hindi mo pa rin na hit ang target mo. At least I was reading my GPS so medyo conscious ako na shorter route sya, pero paano yung iba na akala super ganda ng performance nila yun pala naiba ang route?
don’t get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed the race kahit papaano. it was a great event I think, the course had great views and had the right level of challenge.

anyone comparing their GPS route vs. the official route? It looks like they match except for the Happy Hollow part. However, that cut portion is probably only 1-2kms, so even before this last minute change, it still doesn’t look like the trail will hit 22kms …
