  10. pls change the route. kakasuka na yung buendia flyover and then u turn on ayala .
    new year, new route . mckinley hills or heritage park would be a nicer replacement.

    no one is forcing you to run that route if you feel like throwing up kapag dumaan ka duon…
    an opinion is nice but oftentimes its not what you say but how you say it…

  18. January 16 is Monday po, 2nd Monday of January ba talaga yan event or un event is on January 15, 2nd Sunday of January? and if this event is organized by Runrio, bakit d ko ata ito makita sa Runrio site?

  21. yung po mga gustong ibang route naman kasi nga po nakakasawa na rin dyan sa BGC (ako nga po taga-rito sa Laguna, e sawa na rin dyan for races), try nyo po mid-year yung Greenfield City Green Air Run sa Sta.Rosa Laguna & maybe you can visit further south sa Los Banos..we have 2-3 good races here in a year..sa Greenfield may half-mary dun which I plan to run kasi 10km ako last year dun. The route is fairly flat kaya okay naman sya plus fresh air talaga,last year organised by Runrio. Sa Los Banos, fresh air din, challenging paved uphills, lots of trees, with occasional short stretches of trail. May half-mary distance din po here.

    For a change of scenery naman. corny na kasi pag same place palagi, nagbabago lang ang anyo ng mga tarpaulin.

    21k? not bad… beneficiary naman ay mga bata na may diabetes.. mahal ang gamutan sa diabetes.. saka forever na ang gamutan nila…

    yung iba nga e 1K+ ang registration sumasali sana dito sumali din sila..

    tama ka maganda sa laguna tumakbo, sariwa ang hangin, pero dami naman ang magco-comment na mga runners, kasi ung iba mapapalayo sa venue, sa totoo lang para sa kin medyo malayo ang BGC dahil from caloocan pa ko, pero ano ba magagawa ko kung dun talaga sa BGC ang race event or di ako mag join sa race kung nagsasawa na ko, pero okey din para sa kin kung sa ibang lugar naman gaganapin ang race event,,, palagi na lang kasi BGC, MOA at McKINLEY, pero okey na rin kahit saan basta ba maganda ang pagkaka-organize sa mga race,,

  34. Pwede po ba kayong maglagay ng registration venue near Malate. Lagi nalang sa MOA at Glorietta. Baka pwede rin sa Toby’s Sports Robinsons Place or HP?

  42. guys, sakin maganda ang singlet worth nmn sa 800. go na, paregs na kyu. minsan nwwlan ng sizes ng singlet. paregs sa 21k as early.

  43. @bunso: I just registered this afternoon for 21k at Toby’s Shangrila, as per Runrio staff, finisher’s medal daw, not finisher’s shirt

  46. bakit walang medal?..21k is half marathon.. di naman problema ang price kaso yung sinasabing bring home the bacon.. parang nawawala yung bacon sana naman merong the “medallion” para masaya.

  57. reg already kapat 5 kyo group free na isa…so less 650 sa 10k…520 each na lang binayaran namin…at ang ganda ng singlet di tulad ng unilad parang pinakasal na tissue konti na lang hahanginin na..sana kapag runrio ganun kaganda ang fabric at design!go na kyo mga runners promise maganda singlet…

  62. tsk tsk ndi naman ung medal importante, importante natapos mo that is already an achievement, medals shirts are just symbols hindi naman kelangan ibrag ang medal at shirt purket naka half marathon ka. basta alam mong natapos mo un na un period……..

  65. The 21k finishers will get a nice shirt instead of a medal.

    The first 1,000 runners who register get a baller ID which will serve as a VIP pass. You get perks when you wear the baller ID during the event. Una sa start line. Lootbags etc. Maganda ang singlets by Unibersidad. Its running for a good cause so lets support. All details are posted na sa RunRio facebook site and RunRio website. Check nyo din sa Takbo.ph at sa Natural Quality Corp website.

    Then if gusto nyo pa magdonate ng additional 150, ang ganda din ng shirt na bibigay sa inyo sa run. napakadami daw raffle prizes and sponsors giveaways. Bonggang start eto for 2012.

  66. Maybe those people who looks for medals sa mga fun runs is because they keep them medals as souvenirs.

    Kahit ano basta macover ang basics like route, hydration, ok na ako dun.

    you get to choose pa what color of singlet you want upon registration.

I went to toby’s shangrila yesterday and the lady on the registration booth told me that 21K runners will receive finishers medal and that has been told to them since the start of the registration for this event. But this info is confusing because runrio website clearly says that there will be a finisher shirt for all 21k runners. PLEASE!!! MAKE IT CLEAR!!!

  80. It’s not the medals that make a run worth it. I believe it’s the cause. And for this run, it’s for early child diabetes education…if that is true. :P

    there’s no finishers medal. 21k participants will be getting a finisher’s shirt instead. i know tons of runners vie for a medal but the stakeholders decided not to so that they’ll be able to give more to the beneficiary

    best to leverage on the group registration (4+1). sayang din ung discount especially if you are gunning for the 21k category. nakatakbo na tayo para sa ating kalusugan at nakatulong pa sa ating kapwa =)

  90. I think the registration fee is justifiable since part of it will be donated for the benefit of early child diabetes education. C’mon guys, lets start the year right by running for a cause. :)

  92. I registered online on dec. 1 and got my racekit just now. I actually paid less than what I registered. I only paid 550 instead of 650. Maybe, some prob with the system that time…oh well… and I’m one of the early bird registrants. :)

  97. Naku sana meron pang available na baller. I wonder what the baller perks are. Powerade instead of water for race refreshments? More product loots from sponsors? Discount coupons?

  99. @neilgutz Group registration is extended until end of the year. Color of singlet will be the choice of the runner and will not depend on the category.
