  1. Congratulations runners, to brave the rainy evening is already an accomplishment. And to those who are planning a night run, pls do it in summer and not in the rainy months of the 2nd half of the year.

  2. loved the night run. loved running in the rain. just wish the paths were lit better. the headlamps (while awesome) were simply not bright enough to spot all the potholes from that tricky area.

  3. Erratum: To those who are planning to organize a run, pls do it in summer time, and not on the usual rainy months of the year. Alam ko kasi, there was an Energizer run also held in April, tama lang na summer ginanap. Suwerte lang yung NIke and Adobo run that a good weather had turned out. Anyway, I’m not against a night run, I also run at night especially this season when nighttime bites a bit earlier. The great disadvantage is, I’m always deprived of appreciating more clearly the scenery around me. Minsan kahit gusto ko pang tumakbo, kina-cut ko na kapag madilim na masyado, lalo na sa Cp Aguinaldo where roads are not well lighted.

  4. I also enjoy the run, congratulations to the the organizers. It looked like madami din nagparticipate, aliw to see all the runners with the headlights on hehe. Btw, meron bang lootbag? I left immediately kasi sobrang wet look ko na :P

    sulit na rin ung race kahit wlang lootbag! ang dami kong pocari :)) before the race 2mini bottle during the race 2large bottle end of the race 1mini bottle :))hahahaha…. to top it off super sexy and HOT!!! ni miss Yassi Pressman!

  8. Thanks to the organizers and congrats to all the participants… Great rainy run… Though i was expecting a similar rainy run like last year’s canon rock and run…:) till our next night run.. Run Happy! :)

  14. Ang saya lang tumakbo sa ulan. Sayang lang hindi ako nakakuha ng certificate dahil hindi ko napansin ung nagbibigay sa finish line.

    Medyo hassle lang talaga ung sa baggage counter. Hindi pa rin organized at parang ung sa Nike lang din last month. Pero overall, the race was a great experience. :)

  16. The first time I ran with the rain pouring. The event was nice, I just wish there is a finisher’s kit loot bag. Overall it was a good run.

  18. The timer is not on anymore when I crossed the finish line. Grrrrr. What happened to long lasting battery of Energizer? My time for 10k was around 1hr 10min when I crossed the finish line based on my own clock. Tsk Tsk :(

  25. My race result is not recorded! Badtrip yun! But sa wife ko naka record kasi daw dinikit nila bib nila dun sa sensor! May ganon?!

  27. @Elpie Same here, I can’t find my result too as well as my boyfriend’s. I don’t think the sensors were that sensitive. Bad trip sobra. Buti nalang I kept my time.

  31. kainis nmn dapat sana inayos nila panu natin malalaman kung mas mabilis tau now kesa sa previous run natin..but still i LOVE the mud,the rain. It’s a great run before my upcoming 21k…

  34. infairness sa runningmate, inemail nila ang race result ko a :) enjoy naman ang night race habang umuulan :) mejo naipon lng ang runners sa finishline dahil sa sensor at sa baggage counter na parang naging palabunutan :) pero enjoy pren ako sa race nato :)

  35. Bakit wala yung pangalan ko sa results??? 4 Kaming friends na tumakbo, silang tatlo andon. Badtrip. poorly-organized run. Ni hindi bukas ang timer nung nasa finish line na para malaman man lang ng tao yung mga time nila.

  39. this was my first night run.. and done it alone but still its great and fun I have run with me… hoping for more night run since this is the only time I can join a run.. CONGRATS to the runners, to energizer, CONGRATS TO ME.

  40. final na po ba ang mga results? cant find my official or personal time record, my race bib number is 10305. sugestion lang din po,dapat ata o mas maganda pg parating na sa f.line,yun deretso na,indi yun liliko pa tas ayan na ang f.line

  42. ok din pala ang night race… kaso medyo nightmare ang kuhanan po ng gamit parang finders keepers at palabunutan sa roleta ng kapalaran hehe…nabasa ang certficate kakaantay =).

  44. I also couldn’t find my result. Bat ganun? tapos, same experience as arnold’s… no clock at the finish line. Based on my own time, I finished 10k at 59mins and 53secs.

    Also, may photos ba of the runners? Can we have the link?

  46. @Gilbert I tried checking again now. I think it’s really the sensors, baka they’re not sensitive enough or decreased ang sensitivity because of the rain. I always keep my time, pero siyempre iba pa rin yung official results. I enjoyed the run so much and I think it was well-organized, but I am so dismayed because of this.

  54. is that the final official result? coz we can’t find our bib number or names…51108,51109. 51110 has the wrong name.very disappointing!

  55. me too, nde ko nakita ung result ko dito. sayang ung effort ko kunin ung best ko. based on my own timer, i finished 10k @ 50min and 10sec. pa-check po ng bib ko 10885

  58. nice 1st time night run experience for me…feeling naglalaro lng me sa ulan…nakakawala ng problema kahit sandali lang….hihihi….sana maulit muli (^_~)

  59. I enjoyed this run. Water stations were enough. This followed the same route as the Nike We Run Manila and I guess the organizers were able to learn from the previous race and placed lights at dark areas. Loved the rain. The rain helped keep me going even when I was already tired (amateur whiner-runner here, hehehe). But the distribution of the certificates was a hassle. I left without getting mine. Anybody know where they posted the pics taken during the run? :)

  60. Running plus konting ulan is perfect. Sobrang saya.

    What’s traumatic was the baggage claiming. Stood there for about 45 minutes. Sana maimprove yun.

  67. It was my first night run and I enjoyed it, even if the rain didn’t stop from pouring the whole night… looking forward to my next night run and to next year’s Energizer Night Run :)

  68. Tomoh! Ang gulo ng baggage deposit and claiming. Sa deposit kasi pumipirma ba dun sa logsheet nila. Tapos nung claiming na, rambulan.

  72. It was a really good night run. Adequate hydration stations, friendly marshalls and good route. The headlamp and its adjustability provided enough lighting in the dim patches. There was a complaint about not being able to appreciate the scenery – this was a night run by Energizer. The point was to illuminate the streets with the headlamps. About it being like a trail run because of the mud, not the organizers’ fault. The weather is beyond anyone’s control, so technically even if it was scheduled in the summer months, if the forces of nature decided against dry weather, we couldn’t do anything about it. Sorry ha, just trying to put proper perspective. Try to put aside your complaints and just focus on the love of running. On your missing times, why don’t we all practice keeping our times especially if you’re gunning for a PR? Just my thoughts. We can all be responsible runners.

  73. Great run! Nice route, ample hydration stations, a cool, drizzling weather to go with the pleasant night and a good cause. Such a pleasant 10K experience. Congrats, Energizer. :)

  75. Night Run + Rain = FUN

    I really enjoyed running in the rain. It reminds me of my childhood and i am sure everybody can relate to that feeling of nostalgia..=)

    Overall the race was very good except for the baggage claim area. It was a complete disaster. But it never bothers me nor ruin the fun that i have. Because i am pretty sure that we were able to extend something to the beneficiary of the said race. Our deaf brothers and sisters.

    Thank you Energizer for being a good samaritan.

  86. I saw someone bumped off by a Kenyan during the start of the race. Poor guy..nobody helped him even the organizer’s medical personnel..The elite runners should be asked to stay infront..As usual, it was a nice run but should have been more organized..
