Timex Run 2012 – January 22, 2012

Sana me medal sa 16K . . .Takbo buong office namin pag me medal . . Pag wala malamang hanap na lang ng iba (^_^)

@Animo run risk our lives.. tama… sana lahat ng category mabigyan ng finisher shirt… ang mahal masyado ng registration fee.. considering na bigatin ang run na ito..

I registered online when the option first opened; race kits… what’s taking so long?

mag SIM na lang tayo!

It’s been 2 weeks since I registered… yung Race Kit ko?

1st time kong tatakbo d2 sa timex, GO ako d2 sa 16K,

may finishers kit po b? at ano po ang laman nito?

sayang walng 21k pero ok na rin ang 16k i will join on this run … anu kaya best tym ni papa P……. sayng wala na cla ni kc …. for sure andun sana si kc aheheheheh. kaya lng boys daw nid ni papa P. =)

I am torn between Timex and SIM… :( Any thought guys? Btw, I’m planning SIM to be my first 21K and Timex doesn’t have that category. However, it is organized by runrio and I am pretty sure that it will be a good run… What do u think guys?

@tarai – matagal talaga ang mga kits pag maaga ka nagregister online – based on my experience .. pero dadating din naman for sure – bago ang race of course. pero pag kinda late ka na nagregister, mga 3-5 days lang dadating na ang kit (parang nung milo finals lang, late na ako nagregister, dumating naman sya ng mabilis…).

runners, nag register me online 2 weeks ago, dumating na kahapon yung singlet ko, ganda ng color at tela, go timex!

wala po bang race map? 1st time ko po kasi mag 16k. tanchahin ko na sana yung layo.

i suggest you simply train for the distance. if you did 10k previously, it shouldn’t be that hard to cover 6km more. when i did my 1st 10km, looking at the map just scared me more but actually running it was totally different and fun =)

@pyxcel, learned my lesson, ayoko na magingg masyado excited at magregister agad. hehe :) nweiz, got my race kit already, malaki ung size na napunta saken. :( parang gusto ko na ipabago ung distance ko. :( dapat tlg di agad nagreregister. hehe :)

Finally made my decision yesterday and I chose this over SIM…

ang mahal … iisip ako ako kung go natural… pero minsan lang to timex…. hmmm

meron ba tong finisher’s shirt for the 16K runners ??

Kaka-register ko lang online. It’s my first time mag online reg. Gano po katagal bago makuha ang race kit?

@ tarai for me mas okey talaga yung onsite kaya nga sana mas madami onsite reg lalo sa south para save naman sila sa pamasahe kasi pagonsite kita mo talaga yung quALITY nang singlet at sizes diba
kaya nga sana sa mga nagoorganize nang event sana more site pa para yung iba makasalit talaga

sana makaabot pa ako pa register ako bukas mukhang mganda kasi event kasi runrio ang nag organize..i’ll run for 16k ,kelangan natin mag practice 3x a week para pag dating natin ng race di tayu sunog..

No medal? No shirt for 16K? Pass…

disappointing start so far- late arrival of race kit when I registered super early online. On top of that, I received the wrong race kit… AGAIN! (for a RunRio race within the last 3 mos.)
I hope this is just another blip & doesn’t become part of the norm. I, like others who opt to register online, I’m assuming do so to avoid the hassle, but lately it seems (for me) that it’s becoming more trouble than it’s worth. What a bummer since Rio’s events (from my experience) are well run.

yung sa online registration ba sa bazu wla talaga silang confirnmation receipt na pinapadala sa email as a proof na you registered and paid for the event? tnx

I registered for 6 poeple and paid for 4.5k or more…im afraid di macount in ung registration namen

I also registered 4 people and paid almost 3T that includes service charges.

and until now i haven’t received email confirmation.

lately may problem sa confirmation email nila. pwede mo email ang bazusport to confirm pero may times na mabagal sila sumagot. Ang magiging confirmation mo na lang niyan is when the race kit arrives. Usually takes a week depending on where you are.

Advice ko lang is to email bazu now then hintayin na lang kung alin mauna, race kit or response. After a week pag wala both, punta ka Riovana. Hehe.

According to Ralph of Timex Trinoma, they will still there to accommodate late registrants until January 15, 2012. Contrary to their prior announcement that late registrations will be accommodate only at Riovana outlets. Still in-store registration are still open at Timex shops.

mahirap itong run na ito. similar ung route sa adidas kotr minus 800 meters. pero mas me challenge mas ok. ung sa 8th avenune elevated na un (mga 1 km na uphill). tapus ung sa kalayaan flyover eh lalo na. pero isip muna ako kasi nga ala medal.

Race is too expensive. 16K @ Php750 with just a singlet and timing tag (normal with all races).

Discount coupon with Timex is pretty useless.

Coach Rio likes to over price his races. Gusto magpayaman agad at the expense of fellow runners.

Check out other runs and for a Ph700 registration youll get a finishers medal and would have helped a charity

bakit hndi pa rin dmarating ang race kit nmn.. ng register aq online last jan 3.. till now wala pa din.. paki follow up nmn pls.. hndi rin sumagot ung mga contacts no.s nyo..

wow. extended na til jan 18. gustong gusto ko na talaga tumakbo dito. pero alanganin pa rin eh. kasi nga mahal na ala pa medal saka shirt. training na lang ako for Run United 1 sa march. sabay na lang siguro ako sa sunday.
