Condura Skyway Marathon 2012 – Run for Mangroves

Condura should just market the Skyway Marathon as the country’s premiere running event – the Philippines’ answer to New York, Chicago and Berlin marathons, and not as an advocacy of some sort. Mangroves, seriously? I think it’s time to get real.

In any case, I won’t miss this for anything! :)

For everyone’s benefit…HE’S right “GET REAL”…

Well I think also that Condura should get away already of those false “eco” advocacy sponsored runs where the contributions are not from their pockets, but from the runners. Moreover, the P50-portion of the joining fees for the whale sharks, dolphins and now the mangroves, isn’t worth biting to consider this race as for a cause.

C’mon Condura Organizers, name it as a “Condura Skyway Marathon” it is what really is and should be. If you want to slash away P50 from the fees and have it allocated for the propagation of the mangroves, just reserve it to yourself. Pls no more “eco” advocacy.

Pabayaan na lang natin sa “Takbo sa Kalikasan” ang bagay na iyan. Anyway, sila naman lang talaga ang tunay na gumagawa ng para sa Kalikasan. Halos buong proceeds ng race na iyon, napupunta sa Save the Pasig River Foundation ata, if I am not mistaken, against your P50/per runner only. Commercial na takbuhan po ang inyo, at hindi totoong pang advocacy run.

mga reklamador. wala kayong alam sa race organizing. kung ayaw niyo sumali just shut up. anong masama sa pagbibigay ng proceeds para sa kalikasan? you have no idea how much are the expenses for this big races. puro kayo satsat eh malamang ambabagal niyo naman manakbo. ano tama ba?

no matter what, i’ll run 42k for the mangrove.

What does it cost you to experience and sustain your habit? maybe don’t mind it at all… besides this race benefits not only the runners but the organization and doings the run set forth early as this year… runners who want to join, you still have more than a month to save money to be registered and donate open heart… well i can say no more… I Run because… I want… i’m happy… i just pray every understand why they run… see you runners and PF’s on this Event….
