2nd Trek the TEC is a vertical run in one of the most recognized building in Makati Central Business District. The Enterprise Center located at the crossroads of Dela Rosa St. , Paseo de Roxas and Ayala Avenue. Its 2 Towers combines to 90 floors or roughly 2,065 steps a runner should run up. It is the only real and most challenging vertical run in the Philippines.

i joined here last year. its like u ran a 15k in this vertical run. feeling of lung busting and heart pumping. all finisher get prices from raffle excluding the loot bag and certificate after the run.

I wonder how many slots will be accommodated this time…
last year we limit participants to 150 runners, but this time we will accommodate 500 runners. base on the inquiry and call we already received since we posted it here yesterday the 500 slots would easily be filled up.
For the timing, we will use electronic chips. Runners will be released by batches of 20 runners every 5 minutes.
yes there will be raffles prizes and loot bags.
the fastest time last year is just over 13 minutes. only 11 seconds separates the top 2 finisher. for the female the fastest time is over 17 minutes.

yes there will be a cut off time. the cut-off time is 1 hour 30 minutes after the last wave of runners was released.

Want to join, kaya lang medyo takot ako sa heights. Yong stairs po ba e nakikita mo yong baba or sa fire exit po ito gaganapin. Wala akong makitang pictures ng 1st tec vertical run e so I don’t have any idea kung anong klaseng stairs ang aakyatin. Thanks.
@CuteMo: Nakakwentuhan ko yung sekyu dun sa TEC, may participant din sila, sa staircase daw inside the bldg ang akyat. Tama si terg, it’s twice up and down the two bldg. Ventillated naman daw yung staircase so hindi tayo masasuffocate. So may advantage na rin sila kasi nakakapagpractice sila dun mismo.

The race kits would be available starting November 10, 2011. You can view/see the event T-shirt design in the Facebook page of 2nd Trek the TEC vertical run. It is also on display now at the registration desk at the Level 3 Lobby of The Enterprise Center at the corner of Ayala Avenue and Paseo de Roxas
We are not promoting the 2nd Trek the TEC vertical run heavily because we are limiting the number of participants. Trek the TEC 2 Vertical run is different from Discovery vertical marathon. Besides there is no such thing as a Vertical marathon. A marathon refers to a 42km. roadrace.
