ok naman yung run. i dont expect naman to break my pr kase nga madame talaga nag join. ang nakakainis lang talaga eh yung mga bouncers…ang yayabang!!!kailangan ba talaga sila gamitin?kung umasta parang sila angbabayad sa pag takbo naten

i just emailed them this morning and i got the reply after lunch.

the time given was close to my un-official time (my watch).

Very disappointing na talaga, bib number and time ko nakapangalan sa female runner….ang layo sa reputation ng runrio tapos considering na nike pa ang partner. Ayusin nyo naman!

Hi to Ms. Catherine Sy, the result of the bib number (not the original size of the tee i chose during the registration) that was printed on the tee issued to me reflected her name and no result for me.

I think the problem happened during the switching/changing of tees due to issues on tee sizes and unavailability of shirts.

My other officemates who got the sizes of tees they reflected on the forms during the registration got results and correct names based on the bib number. This just my assumption though, not really sure what happened! Worst race result for me so far!

Pros:
it’s Nike and RunRio.

Cons:
-no place for running for those who were not there to enjoy the run.
-baggage counter and finisher’s kit, MESS.
-not a well-lit route (and for those who are saying that its part of the adventure, adventure pa rin ba pag natapilok ka at nasprain ang ankle mo?).
-konti lang freebies, was expecting more. :(
-results are not clearly posted. :|

best before or expired by october 20 ung granola bar na pinamigay nung run.. ayos. :)

Wala naman ata usb eh? Baka naisip nila sa shirt pa lang bawi na ng mga tao yung reg fee lalo na dun sa mga may buddy discount.

meron naman talaga usb kaso ang tanung anung year ibibigay hahaha..kasi nung awarding after nang run yung mga elite o mga nanalo sa event may nakuha na sila agad na usb
feel ko parang unfair naman ata yun lahat naman tayo nagbayad bat di lahat nakakuha agad diba?

grabe namn.. so mga winners lang ang nagawan ng usb.. hehe.. kawawa nman ung ibang mas nakatagal sa init ng panahon.. :)

til now no updates from Runrio re: USBs…could not check Nike Facebook page kung ano ang updates

like most, i haven’t received mine as well

we have to take into consideration on when the USB will be shipped here in MNL. then taking into account the coordination with our records and the courier. lastly, the time it will take before the USB to arrive at our doorsteps

i’m gonna wait 2 more weeks before sending out an inquiry to RunRio team

as of now no response from [email protected]… i have sent 2 emails inquiring on when will the finisher’s souvenirs will be available. or it will not???

also sent 2 sms messages to the 4 numbers (2 numbers of globe and 2 numbers of smart)that they have provided that was written in the letter they distributed during the race event. and with no luck still no answer from them… what gives???

hoping that nike and run rio look into this matter for they promised and assured that the finisher’s souvenir items will be given to those who legitimately finished the said 10k fun run.

the reputation of nike and run rio is on the line here…

please pinoyfitness, hope you could relay this to nike and/or run rio… :)

Is there anyone here who has a NIKE we run manila singlet size XXL for men?

I want to swap mine, XXL in size but for women (pero mukang medium ung size, haha).

Medyo maliit kasi yung size and I need a bigger one. So if incase lang na merong may gusto makipag-swap.

pag may ganitong klaseng organizer na ni hindi man lang sumasagot sa concerns ng mga taong hinikayat nila na tumakbo sa event nila, di kaya may karapatan tayong mga runners na mag ask ng refund since the we did not received the full service that they promised to us?nagtatanong lang po..baka may taga DTI dito sa forum, this will be a good sample for future organizers to follow kung ano ang ipinangako..

kung may taga DTI dito, you may check what i mean re nike ignoring the runners thru all the comments/feedback at nikerunningph fb account..

actually as per call conversation with run rio, nagaantay lang din sila ng feedback kay nike kung kelan nila ibibigay ang USB and sad to say as of today wala pa rin feedback si Nike..

hindi na raw “check” ang logo ng Nike kundi ekis na hahahaha

Nike called me up this morning to confirm the mailing address. They said they will be sending the finisher’s kit starting December 17. :)

haven’t received any sms about the usb. though i know some runners who were contacted already

An unexpected call from the organizers while I am in my class yesterday afternoon, Dec. 8, 2011, around 1 to 2pm. They are confirming the address that I declared upon registration. Assuring that on or before Christmas will be the delivery dates of the “controversial” USB via courier. I hope that promises are not made to be broken this time.

My name, race bib number was not registered.tsktkstks what a system. I finished the run but can’t find the result and can’t find my name thus I can’t receive the special prize. It is completely horrible.

Sana Nike Philippines could shed light on how are they choosing the recipients of the confirmation text.

Why are they keeping silent. Why not use socila media to disseminate informtaion faster. Why not publish contact numbers, email adds, or sites wherein we could confirm our details.

Kung kailangan nila ng tulong dapat magsabi sila. I believe the KOTR organizers are willing to lend a hand. lol
