The ‘Run for Positive Lives’ is a fun run project conceived to:
(1) Engage runners to support the HIV and AIDS advocacy on ‘Getting to Zero’ as it adopted the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) theme that specifically aims to attain ‘Zero New Infections’, Zero AIDS-related Deaths and ‘Zero Discrimination’ by year 2015, and to
(2) Gather enough proceeds to financially support an existing project dubbed as +Lifeguide (www.pinoylifeguide.org), a People Living with HIV (PLHIV) community-owned, community-driven and managed electronic portal on ‘living positively’.
The ‘Run for Positive Lives’ is a collaborative fun run project that engages the same nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) for the +Lifeguide project like Pinoy Plus Association (PPA+), Babae Plus, Positive Action Foundation Philippines Inc. (PAFPI) and the Philippine NGO Support Program, Inc. (PHANSuP).
Registration Fees:
3K – PHP 400.00
5K – PHP 500.00
10K – PHP 600.00
21K – PHP 700.00
– The registration fee includes a singlet, race bib and timing chip.
– Cash prizes and other surprises await the winners of the event.
– Special awards and prizes await the youngest and oldest runners who will cross the finish line.
– Other fun and exciting activities for the whole family.

Yes we will provide medals for 21 KM finishers, special medals for the Top 10 of each race category and cash prizes for the Top 3 of each category.

Medals will be awarded to the Top 10 finishers of each race events per gender (Top 10 Male – Top 10 Female).

Wah why no Finisher Shirt. 21K highlights is to have a finisher shirt. No Finisher Shirt definitely no participation. Think about it. Finisher shirt is part of excitement in 21K
Dear Dhio,
The highlight of the event is to further the advocacy of HIV & AIDS since there are about 5 to 7 new cases everyday in the Philippines. With our advocacy as supported by the different treatment hubs, UN agencies and DoH, we pray and we are expecting that there will be many participants who believe in the cause.
On December 10, we will have booths for the self-assessment of risk, peer educators and volunteers whom any participants can ask and approach.

Dear Abbeyclaire,
Registration sites in Reebok Trinoma, Royal Sporting House in Alimall and Glorietta 4 The Shoe Shop in Rockwell, RITM, UP-PGH, Makati Social Hygiene Clinic and the offices of partner NGOs will be until December 8.
On-site registration on December 10 at CCP.
We encourage early registration so that we could properly facilitate distribution of race kits and singlets.

You run for the cause and the run itself. Secondary lang dapat ang medals and finisher shirt, loot bags etc etc.

akala ko ba top 10/gender/category ang me medals??? the announcer on the actual run keep saying only top 3/gender/category ang me medals….sayang naman
until now wala pa ring results? kelan po post ang results and photos?
ang gara…after ng event di na nagri-reply ang organizers…..pero before the event panay ang post nila
oo nga…. nag post ako sa wall nila sa fb about the results kung kelan sabi hanggang end of the month…. hala january 2012 na kaya! anu ba yan! time lang naman gusto namin makita eh. azar! tatandaan ko organizers na yan!
i wanna volunteer to teach and educate those hiv/aids victim. I can talk to my fellow colleagues we can give u free seminar on business. you can still do business even ure positive…think positive…dont lose hope
