Corregidor International Half-Marathon – December 10, 2011

can anyone answer why up to now, wala pang confirmation email sa akin?i registered nov 9 pa….any person to contact po?ganundin friend ko sabay kami nagreg pero up to now wala pang email….

this run had been haunting me for months now!!!!

but i know that it’s to early for me to take on a half marathon.

every second weekend of December right, i’ll be there on 12.08.12

still, i am tempted…

same concern…no confirmation email yet…do we need to reregister?…if there is no confirmation, can we bring the deposit slip as proof of our registration. organizers, kindly post on next step??? maybe there is a way we can call and provide details so that we can be sent confirmation the same day.

Nakapagpabook na ko ng room. Good for 3 pax pala un isang room. Pwede pa kaya magsama ng isa. 2 lng akis kami… :)

Sa mga naghahanap ng confirmation email from the organizers, try to look for their email sa SPAM Mail folders nyo. Mine and runner friend’s confirmation went there. I dunno but for some reason, dine-detect sya as spam. May pdf file yun na kasama and medyo malaki yung size ng email. Maybe that’s why.

@Mon thanx for the details! May i know what time is the race? If we will be leaving on dec 10 5 am here in Manila are we not gong to be late for the race? Is it true we can register at ROX nov 20 onwards? Its easier than online kasi thanx!!

Received confirmation email today! That’s great. Waiting na lang for kit delivery. Next step to arrange for bangka from Cabcaben to Corregidor. Confimation email will include distance / bib no / singlet size etc.

I haven’t received mine. I registered last Saturday pa but until now they haven’t confirmed our registration.

Help! Do they have a contact number?

@chumiko, I heard the race is at 8 am. So if the ferry leaves at 5 am, there’s plenty of time to spare. BTW, the 5 am ferry is specific to the CIHM.

And yes I heard that you can register at ROX after Nov 21….

I was hesistant in joining this event. But after Nathan Ridge, I’m very confident finishing 21k at CHIM even with those curfews.

However, I’ve already joined Milo. Next year I hope if I’m still here.

I registered last Nov 8 and received an email that says my payment will be confirmed and up until now, I still haven’t received an email confirming my payment. anyone experiencing the same here?

hmm..baka po may gusto na makipagpalit ng ticket/slot sa ferry going back to manila after the race. I have 2 tickets for the 2:30 departure..exchange with the 5:00pm departure..Thanks!

im taking the back-to-back 21k challenge (CIHM and MILO)

Some takeaways from the CIHM briefing:

– Looks like this will be a challenging race. From the presentation material, the 2nd half of the course is mostly uphill. In fact, one of last year’s participants mentioned a “killer hill.” Gulp!

– There will be 6 photographers stationed in what the presenter described as “scenic” sites. Their pictures will be posted in the CIHM Facebook page (which, according to the presenter, is still closed).

– It seems like the CIHM organizers are promoting the community aspect of the event. There will even be a “class picture” of all the participants which will be published in the Philippine Star!

– There will be shower stalls so runners can freshen up after the run!
