  1. Nice meeting you, Mr. Pinoyfitness and Ms. Mars. Hope next series of the Camp Run will be supported much of advertising and promotion here in Pinoyfitness.com as well as in other running blogs/websites. I enjoyed the event very much.

  2. @Joeyboy80> I still hope of having more running events inside the camp.

  3. yup sobrang galang ng mga sundalo.pinabilib ako. ang sarap tumakbo because of the atmosphere. parang pinatuloy tayo sa bahay nila. i love everything about this event. as always, extribe made me smile. nung nag edsa run ganda ng route na pinatakbuhan nila. they always come up with something new. hindi sila commercial run and kitang kita psti turn over ng money sa beneficiaries. one for the books to. =)

  4. //i was 15 minutes late for 10k category..the 5k runners have even left off..whew..! and i had to catch..yet, i nished strong and injury free..! but there’s so much to be enjoyed: the ambiance — first time to run inside the camp and i can only have good words to describe the whole place..the organizer, exTribe, did a wonderful job – the marshals and the staff at start/finish line had so much energy..! no sports drink, but they compensated it with overflowing supply of bottled water. had the opportunity to have my photo taken riding a tank and holding a real gun..!ahahah…! and the military officers had been very courteous.. the route was one of a kind..trees and lots of greens along the route…there were a few vehicles but they would always give in to the runners — yeah..! you made us all feel privileged..clean and fresh air..whoah..! what a treat to the lungs..the finisher’s kit — may not be that “great” but it was all worth it — all finishers got a military dog tag (some of us wore it to RU2 today.. :) ).. and the best part really was — meeting and bonding with PF residents..plus — photos, photos, and more photos…and that’s the essence of this event..not only that we extend help for the charitable causes but also we get to have fun and enjoy the company of our FRieNDS from the pinoyfitness community..

    //ooopz..CONGRATULATIONS to: @drunner and
    @mary grace lao for making it to the top spot in 10k and 5k categories, respectively. you made us proud friends.. :)

    //super LIKE the photo in this topic.. :)

    //all in all — it’s 9..!

  5. it’s a great for us [SPiCE Runners (4, 10K runners & 1, 5K runner)]… yun lang kawawa yung isang kasama namin, nslide kaya hindi nya natapos ang run…but then, ang saya2x pa rin lalo ng makatapos kaming 3 sa 10K at ung 1 sa 5K…enjoy sa mga freebies, picture2x, at 1st time ko makahawak ng M16 at makabuhat ng mga balang ky bigat2x…haha! See yah again sa Camp Run Series 2….:)

  6. Sensiya na doon sa mga nadulas dahil medyo may mga malumot na part lalo’t umulan. Sensiya na rin doon sa mga walk-ins na nagkamali ng pasok sa vehicle passageway. Hiwalay kasi entrance for walk-ins. Sana icoordinate ng Extribe next time na makapasok ang mga runners sa AFP Museum. Katapat lang yun ng grandstand.

  7. Not so many participated in the Camp Run… But I’m pretty sure almost all enjoyed the run and went home happy… The race route was great, courteous soldier/marshalls were all smiles, there’s a brief obstacle course prior to the finnish line… A lot of freebies… Photo ops carrying a standard M16 armalite rifle and atop the turret of an armored personnel carrier…

    Definitely, more runners will be allured to join the second camp run series.. Lets spread the word..uuu

  8. There was a foreigner participant talking with the guard when I got to Gate 1’s walk-in entrance last Sat. If I understood it right (I wasn’t listening intently), he’s told that he’s not allowed entry inside the camp despite his ID. His Filipino companion even remarked that they weren’t told about this. I’m not sure if they got in. But I don’t think I saw him during the race.

    Anyway, the freebies were surprisingly nice. I was wondering where’d everyone got their bananas after the race. Found mine after I inspected my loot once I got home. Heh.

  9. @Rotech
    aye sir!
    they were all nice and friendly

    @theyawner,
    i didn’t expect any lootbag either

    @SuPLaDo_aKo,
    ok ang experience sir
    night run + sa loob pa ng camp

    i’ll surely join the next run

  10. @theyawner: I don’t think that foreigners are prohibited inside the camp. There were lots of chances in the past when I saw foreigners running inside the camp. I also saw the male caucasian upon his arrival at the finish line. Perhaps a minor case of misunderstanding. Not all soldiers are good in English.

  11. @theyawner,
    nakita ko rin yong foreigner at kasama nya sa Gate 1
    i guess hindi sila nakapasok
    hindi ko sila nakita during the race…

  12. well me, i got to get back home immediately after the race, but before the race i was able buy PF shirt personally to MR.JL.

    surely missed the photo ops with the PF group like ms.mars and suplado and of course with PF man himself Mr.JL. super satisfied ako sa RUN with the nice route and place plus good freebies what can i say….Superbbbb! God Bless Us all guys.
