Greeting NBA Fans! RunRio has just released some teaser information about the upcoming NBA Fit Run 2011, it’s already scheduled on August 7, 2011 at BGC and will have categories 3k/5K/10K/21K. I wonder if any NBA players will run in this race… Stay Tuned for further updates.

Air21 NBA Fit Run 2011 – Singlet Design:

Singlets will be available for claiming on August 4-6 at the NBA Fit – Air21 Activity Area at the 7th Avenue, 28th Avenue, 9th Avenue and 26th Avenue of the Bonifacio Global City.

  12. any updated info? I mean tama less than a month na lang and people can even register na sana this weekend kung saan mang lupalop ang reg site nito pero up till now ay wala pa hmmm….

  13. korek…di pa alam san ang registration…sa aug. 6 meron din ang reebok..baka kapag nagparegister ako don, bigla naman maglabas ng info ang NBA fit…hmp!…

  25. registered last saturday at trinoa planet sports only timing chip and race bib number ang naibigay. according to the people in there Aug 4,5 at 6 daw ang release ng singlet which is way too late for me since the run is Aug 7 na. wala ring nabanggit about finisher’s shirt at medal for this…paupdate na lang if may nakakaalam na thanks!

  26. sa mga nakapagparegister na, ask ko lang if may sample singlet sa mga registration outlet para makapili ng size?..wala rin kasing pinakitang sample singlet sa mga online sites kung ano itsura ng singlet…any idea if maganda ba????…thanks…

  30. hays… wala yatang finisher’s medal at finisher’s shirt or singlet. sayang yun pa man din ang target ko for joining… nakaka enganyo naman kasi kung may makukuha kang parang trophy para sa achievement mo sa 21km… kaso mukhang wala both medal at finisher’s shirt or singlet.

    i’ll think about it… i might still reconsider… kalungkot lang talaga

  34. ako rin… finisher shirt and medal rin ang hanap ko… sana maayos ng RunRio ang details ng fun run na ito… problema tulad ng sa AKTV at YAMAHA run…nagkaproblema rin sa singlet, finisher shirt, sizes, etc… sana di na maulit at ayusin sana pati registration para hindi na pabalik-balik ang mga participants… abala at perwisho lang sa mga runners… salamat

  36. I just registered today @ shangrila. There’s no sample of NBA singlet sa Tobys Arena outlet.. bali.. yung singlet ng unilab under runrio din ang ginagamit na sizes for fitting. anyway, I hope mging ok yung outcome ng event.. para kasi kulang sa preparation.. kulang2 info and yung singlet hassle kasi dadayuhin pa sa Global City ng Aug 4-6 then 7 na yung run.=(
    Pero since Runrio ang nag-oorganize..
    i think magiging ok naman lahat.

  37. kagaya nung unang comment ko sa taas… kung nka all caps (sorry naman for that) mukhang kulang sa preparation at pinilit lang maipasok sa schedule.

    21km is a big thing to consider… mahirap mag tapos ng 21km tapos wala man lang finisher’s singlet, shirt, medal and/or certificate? i honestly doubt it kung meron man nito kasi kung part man ito ng event, dapat inilagay na nila dito as part of the event details.

    also another bothering idea about this even… bakit kailangan pick-up point is sa BGC tapos 3 days lang yung pick up duration, then right after, event na kaagad? hnd ba lu,alabas na madalian lang talaga ang nangyaring preparasyon? hindi ba kayang i-distribute sa mga reg sites yung kumpletong race kits?

    marami po sana kami sa office namin ang balak mag register, but we’re starting to re-evaluate the practicality of this one.

    tnx for future updates… badly need them.

  38. the distribution of singlet should be done at the registration site, it would be hassle for our side to claim the singlet
    to another place in another date

  39. i agree with the sentiments of Guye and ake12. why not give the singlets upon registration.. the organizers should consider that most, if not all, runners participating in events like this are working and Aug 4,5 and 6 are working days, thus, it would be an inconvenience for us to go to BGC just to get the singlets..

  40. I’m thinking maybe.. busy pa sila sa Rexona Run Event this coming saturday and sunday.. pero sana after that NBA Run nmn ang bigyan ng focus and attention ng RUNRIO.

  41. hays sana nga busy lang talaga sila… kasi naman may instruction na sila kung saan at kelan kukunin yung mga singlets. and if that is so, sana kahit man lang right after rexona ang start ng pick up ng kits w/ singlets at sana sa reg sites nlang ang pick up point. kasi honestly accessible lang naman ang BGC sa mga taong nag t-trabaho dun.

  43. to all you guys having full trust sa runrio as organizers, hindi po lahat ng runrio events ay ok. such examples of mediocre run events ay aktv run at run to build, pati ata run with doctors ala ding kwenta. kung pakiramdam nyo e hindi mganda ang kalalabasan ng run event based on late preparation, late information, so-so or even no sponsors, no beneficiaries etc. wag na pong salihan para walang regrets…

  45. I Agree with the sentiments of the running enthusiast for this event. Medyo mahirap nga na Aug4-6 lang ang pick up tapos sa BGC pa, I agree na sa reg site dun na lang yung pick up din, since hindi na nga binigay yung singlet at least same na lang din kung saan ka nagpareg para mas convenient since not everyone can easily go to BGC just to pick up the singlet.Not everyone that wants to run can easily afford to just go to BGC to pick up the singlet. hope may iba pang pick up area.thanks!

  52. masyadong abala ang pagkuha ng singlet. buti kung yung makukuha mo e ung size mo talaga. patok ngaun ang fun run kaya kahit ganito ang ginagawa nyo sa mga runners eh nakakabenta pa rin kau. pero kapag naurat yang mga yan… kau din ang mawawalan.

  53. sa organizer po hayaan na po ninyo ito sa mga pilipino athlete sana po wag na kayong mag pasali ng mga kenyan. …hayaan na po natin ang mga pilipino athlete ang makinabang ng mga benefits na nililikom ninyo…..

TO COACH RIO : pakinggan mo naman ang hiling ng mga mga pilipino athlete… sana sa mga fun run mong ino organize wag ka na rin mag pasali ng mga kenyan… alam mo naman na haapbuhay lang ang pakay nila dito hayaan mo na ang mga kapwa mo pilipino athlete ang makinabang sa mga beneficio na nililikom ng mga organizer. at alam mo naman na kaunti ang suporta ng gov’t natin sa mga athleta natin… kya nag titiyaga rin sila sumali…at di ba po masarap pakinggan na kapwa natin pilipino ang makinabang….

  55. Coach rio will not listen because thinks of himself as a coach. Coaches (in any field) instruct / give orders, not follow athletes. They know better! In few months time, malamang, 800 pesoses na ang basic entrance fee. Marami ka namang sponsor. Pati tuloy yung mga lesser known organizers ay mahal na rin sumingil dahil gumagaya sa iyo. Haaaay naku!

    However, if you see yourself as a leader / innovator. You will set an example.

    bring your bib no. in claiming your singlet… according to rio’s staff in Planet Sports glorietta, distribution will start by 12:00 noon of August 4 in designated NBA Fit – Air21 activity area in BHS…

    suggestion lang po, call rio’s staff at runnr store before you claim your singlet since sila ang malapit sa designated area to claim the singlet para maiwasan natin ang madismaya :)

  58. ask lang, why there is no singlet available at athletes foot alabang atc?sbi ng personnel dun jan p raw kunin ang singlet s global city malayo para s amin yun coz we’re from muntinlupa para kunin lang ang singlet.why ang rexona adventure run, dito ang registration s atc dito rin nakuha ang singlet at race kit (baka kasi magkaubusan ng sizes pag s araw mismo ng event mo kukuhain yun singlet mo mahirap n)sana ganun din ang ginawa ng runrio and staff.

  66. I forgot to bring my bib!! Pde ba kunin yung singlet kahit hinde dala yung BIB?? I only know my bib number and I’ll bring ID instead. Hmmm..

  70. From RUNRIO: We will strictly enforce the “No Race Bib, No Singlet” policy.– So, I really have to go back home to get my race bib. =( Baket ko ba kasi naiwan ee. grrr

  72. got the singlet at BGC, di naman mahigpit ang staff kahit walang authorization letter basta dala lang ang bib number… by 4 pm pa daw ang dating ng mga medium size nila… pero other sizes are available na :)

  74. got my singlet… wala naman problema … just bring your bib para makuha yung singlet…maganda naman… tried asking kung may finisher shirt at medal sila.. ang sabi lang ng staff…baka raw my surprise sa sunday… sana maganda ang ibigay na loot bag… he he he… good luck guys… just look for the white tents sa gitna ng open field next to the rox parking …

  79. sana irelease na yung other detail like assembly time and gun time kasi po ill be coming from work pa so di ko alam what time ako magoout sa office panggabi kasi ako sa sabado..runrio sana may detail na para di hussle
    yung iba ko kasamahan sabi nila yung singlet medyo madumi humawa yung kulay
