  2. I felt like crying because there was only one water station and they weren’t ready so I passed it up, only to find out that there were no other water stations except that.

    Kung may God bakit walang water station dito???!!! Grr.. Anyways, it’s not God’s fault but the organizers fault.

    If I wanted water, I had to buy it at the site. How pathetic. I was disappointed.

    Yeah there was a fire truck all right. I wished you just took care of the water for drinking. I don’t care if you got firetrucks.

  3. kaloka!!! walang mga water stations sa buong route… hanggang sa finish line wala pa ring water station!!! paramakainom ka kailangan mo pang bilhin yung bottled water ng SM!!! waaaaaaaahhh

  4. I think Me and my staff share the sentiments of the other runners which is lack of hydration and a bit late gun start which affected the performance of the runners.
    On a lighter note, My staff had a challenging run and at the end of the day those challenges are meant for a good cause naman but please let this run be a learning experience to the organizers because hydration and sunlight really plays a big part on the runners performance.

NEGATIVE-late release tshirt.cotton tshirt.kaya pala late release. d maintindihan emcee. pangit sound system.wala timing chip.late start. no water sa 3k.1 water station sa 5k. 2water station sa 10k.wala water sa finish line. POSITIVE- ganda shirt design, orig ang bib,bantay bata daw beneficiary.wala na. D PALA LAHAT NG FUN RUN MASAYA. puede ka rin umuwi na malungkot. gaya kanina…

  6. its a learning experience to all runner, s0metimes the feedbabks ar negative, kaya nxt year this will be the basis kung sasali p kyo or nt s mga takbo n hndi maganda ang performance s pag organize… Ch00se events wisely

  7. over all rating: ok ang run… umuwi kami ng may ngiti sa aming mga labi. the biggest nega lang talaga ay yun hydration issue. pero po s 10k route namin ay may nakita naman akong 4 n WATER STATIONS.. saka ang ganda talaga ng t-shirt ha! from the start pa lang naman sinabi n nilang cotton ang shirt na kasama ng race kit. nasa point of view na lang po nating mga runners ang ikasasaya ng fun run. peace

  10. Kudos to the Philippine Run 2011 Team.

    Positive points:
    1) Nice Shirts
    2) Staff members were accommodating
    3) 10k route – ok
    4) warm-up exercise – ok
    Negative points:
    1) No enough water at water stations
    2) No KM run signages
    3) No enough marshalls to protect the runners while running along the route, since traffic was not closed
    4) late gun start

  13. very dissapointing!! not enough water station for 10k runners. not worth for 600 registration fee. Runrio you are still the best!!!

  14. This is to address everyone’s queries and comments regarding the recently held Philippine Run 2011: Ang Simula.

    First of all, we would like to apologize for the flaws during the event that may have caused inconvenience to some of the runners. There are certain things that we, as organizers, were not able to control.

    We acknowledge that some of you were not pleased about the limited stock of water supply. One of our sponsors failed to deliver their products due to miscommunication and it was only realized an hour before the event. But despite the
    unexpected situation, we tried our best to provide water for the runners. Unfortunately, the supply was not enough.

    As for the freebies, the sponsors of the fun run were only able to provide a bulk number of goods. We are not entitled to demand for more than what they can offer. In effect, the loot bags does not contain identical items.

    We know that the participants paid an amount for them to be able to take part on the event and we sincerely apologize if some of you think that it was not worth it. We know that we are the ones responsible for this and we take account for everything that had happened during the event. Nonetheless, we would like to thank the rest who understand the circumstances that occurred yesterday morning.

    We have read all the comments posted on our Facebook page and we take your criticisms constructively. Again, thank you so much for the support.

    I understand your predicament as an organizer because there are really circumstances during the event that are beyond your control. Besides, as the adage says “it’s already bridge under the water”. However, for you guys to make amends with the participating runners just promptly post the official race results. Ok?

  17. i knew it na medyo magiging chaotic ang event na ito.. first timers ba mga organizers? pero sana next time na mag-conduct ng event na katulad nito eh alam na ng mga organizers kung saan sila nagkulang..

Very disappointing talaga..i mean mamamatay ka na sa uhaw e baka ammatay ka pa sa sagasa ng sasakyan sa mga intersection. tsk….tsk… Philippine Run pa man din ang pangalan ok lang kung pasay run or baclaran run at least di kasali ang pilipinas e. Madali lang mag sorry kasi tapos na e hinde ka na naman makakahabol. Wish ko lang po e ma prove nila na sa Bantay Bata talaga mapupunta ang profit ng event na ito..

  25. pinagtataka ko lang eh yung may SERTIPIKO AT PABUYA na nakalagay sa BIB…ng kinuha na, akala ko nasa loft bag na din pati sertipiko, pero wala pa….para sa akin mas importante ung SERTIPIKO kay sa mga goods…kasi pwedi kung gamitin para panghikayat sa mga gustong sumama sa mga ganitong events…at magiging patunay na sumali ako…sana sa sunod maging maayos na. salamat.

  29. buti na lang pala at hindi ako nka register kung ganun pala andami na dismaya,bka nagkataon kasama pala ako, galing pa ko ng province before ng run , kasi sa manila lang parati may Run na prestigous….

    ok lang wala water sa akin dahil may dala ako parati, pero pag wala timing chip , sus…

    everytime i join any run im always trying to break my personal Time sa 21k… anyway try ulit sa iba… i dont think may join pa ulit next year…hmmm
