i’ll join! Intramuros has been part of my college life..

I contacted the Kaisa Secretariat yday morning and they said the singlets will be avail a week before the run…

kakabitin for those excited abt it! :)
like me! hehe…but our main goal is aside from running benefits is to be of help to the cause. let’s not forget…

so far acdg to Kaisa, the freebie is
free entrance to the Bahay Tsinoy Museum, Fort Santiago, and Casa Manila Museum. They’ll open at 7am to accommodate runners.

Anyway, goldirun ako on this date, sila lang ang may 21k e… Kitakits!

And I agree na kahit ako guilty sa pagkagahaman na yan … Isang example is yung sunod sunod na weekend runs sa May.

I’m a weekend runner given my tight office schedule and regularly lifts weight on weekdays. Talagang di ko na maalis sa system ko ang nakagisnan kong lifestyle since college, though this time, I’m not training for body building, it’s now for running :)

So currently, ngayon pa Lang nagkacatch up ang leg muscles ko with my upper body as goldirun is just going to be my 3rd 21k run after half year of 10k’s…

So regarding the weeks after may 15, I was hoping to join the greentennial run, then the integrity run the week after… However, I am still not confident that my legs can endure that (21k-21k-15k).

So to sum it up, I went back to “the reason”, I run to improve health and to enjoy, well, running. As much as I would like to join all those three races, I would be contented on a single competitive run for May and settle for short recovery runs on the other weeks. Then, come June, I can bounce back at 100% probably on mizuno run >:)

havent yet checked the latest feedback thread of NATGEO and yes,malamang, the peeps there are still after their tech shirts!

oucha! good thing the shirts that me and sister had was of good quality naman. the black portion was processed and stuck to the cloth very well. others have complained nabakbak daw ung black nila.

me naman,since im new to running,(jst this Feb) me and my sister are very excited to almost join the runs here every week so that means aside from the health benefits, we are also shelling out our extra cash to help and support some causes and in-need groups. which is fine basta mapunta lang sa tamang mga tao.

thats why in May, we have 4 runs scheduled already: Run as One, Intramuros Heritage, Greentenial and the Integrity.
hoping to boost our endurance and to upgrade from 5k to 10K for the Manila Intl Marathon on June 26th! woohoo!

@ms mars: Sister, i went to Toby’s yesterday to get a reg. form, the person in charge said by wednesday daw it’s gonna be avail. I’ll come back on friday in time for sweldo for the registration.

By the way, i already checked the singlet of brooks, its a winner, maganda talaga for a 500/600 fee. Its an original brooks singlet. However when you register, the race kit will be released on the 16th of may pa.

Only sample sizes are available as of now. We’re pushing the suppliers to have the race kits with race bibs and some of the shirts (XL,S,M,L) ready by May1. Most likely at the registration sites that started earlier, Toby’s MOA and Trinoma.

I registered yesterday at Cutting Edge greenbelt 5. I got the singlet but the race of race kit is gonna be given next week. for the greenbelt site, they only have small & xs singlets available.

Singlets and race kits are already available in Toby’s Trinoma and MOA since Sunday(May1, 2011). Other registration sites will be available soon or at least one week before the run. :)

Office is open 8AM to 5PM on saturdays. The promos are only available during raceday. 5AM for the food discounts, 7AM for Fort Santiago, Bahay Tsinoy and Casa Manila Museums, and 9AM-12NN for Light and Sounds Museum.

Hi Jm! The last day of registration is on May 10, 2011 or until race kits run out. So i suggest register as early as you can :)

@jeboy, apologies. As indicated in the registration details at the top of the page, Toby’s MOA and Trinoma only have our registration staff on TThFSS from 1PM to 9PM

@jeboy & clarisa: registration at cutting edge 3rd flr. greenbelt 5 is done daily. Just go there at around 12noon coz greenbelt 5 opens at 11am.

Apologies. Singlet and race bib replenishment delivery to Trinoma was late to arrive today. Sizes XS to XL and race bibs are now available there.

A huge apology to those who didn’t get the singlets. We didn’t expect that our first batch was not enough to accommodate registrants for this week, rest assured next batch is on its way. The next batch of singlets will arrive by Saturday. I’ll post a message if the singlets arrived earlier. Sorry again for the inconvenience. We hope we’ll still see you on May 15.

The delivery of the kit in Trinoma is always late. I went there by 5PM today and I got nothing! I just wasted my time waiting! I wasn’t able to register.

@park: We’re really sorry for the inconvenience but as I have mentioned before singlet and race kits will be available by Saturday. We really hope you’ll still join the race on May15.

acdg to Kaisa, registration still open until May 10, 2011. Toby’s Trinoma sched 1-9pm. Hopefully your singlet sizes will all be available by then.

@Park: We will look into this matter. The worst case would have been to be able to register, but with the race kit and singlet to be claimed starting May 7. We will double check now if our registration staff was not around at 5PM Thursday.

Last day for registration is May 10. Singlet size 3X is already fully allotted and out of stock and will need to wait for rush production from singlet maker.

Priority will be given to early registrants.

I called Toby’s staff and they said that our registration staff was there at 5PM, although that he ran out of available stock on hand of some sizes of some singlets yesterday. Although registration forms there are sufficient.

I hope Toby’s staff isn’t covering up for him though. We will send more singlets and race kits tomorrow to Trinoma.

i can relate to what youre going thru right now coz its similar to what happend to me during the NatGEO run. esp when your singlet is not yet ready due to challenges by the singlet maker, late deliveries etc.

a suggestion – you may want to call or text Toby’s Trinoma rep Monching at 09278083017 first before going back there to be sure.
i registered to him last April 30 and im going to claim my 2XL until next Tues May 10 jst to be sure that its there.

@Mars: If it goes smoothly as planned, (No flat tire, etc. hehe) the 2X will be there.

@ Ms.Mars & Charles – He was there at 5pm with lots of form for registration. The singlet was the problem when I (and others) went there. I just hope that you’ll deliver enough sizes (hopefully on time), so that all can be accommodated. I’ll still join this run for my alma mater. Thanks!

I see. Right now, we are accommodating first the people who registered before, who are returning to claim their singlet.

To wait for actual singlet available before registering would be by Tuesday May 10 depending on what sizes are left.

Update: As of now, no more size XL, 2X and 3X singlets for new registrants.

Sizes XS, S, M and L are still available, with priority for earlier registrants.
