Passed by R.O.X. to pickup our race kits for Run for Japan happening this Sunday and surprisingly found out that registration for the Greentennial Half-Marathon 2011 has also started today, there is a 3 day promo as well! here are the details!

There will also be a registration tent for the Greentennial Half Marathon 2011 during the Run for Japan on April 17, 2011.

@jobz: i think it’s another run to be organized after the half-marathon. but i’ll have to confirm this with the organizers. For the singlet, yes, you can choose only one.

The property is located along the coastal waters of Manila Bay bordering the City of Pasay and the Municipality of Parañaque. It has a frontage of approximately 1.2 kilometers and a depth of 2 kilometers.
KEY ATTRACTIONS
The project is located along Roxas Boulevard, which offers a spectacular view of Manila Bay’s beautiful sunset. Dubbed as the “Sunset Strip”, Roxas Boulevard is lined with specialty restaurants, national parks and museums, theatres, entertainment districts, and hotels, catering to both foreign tourists as well as the local populace.
Another prominent landmark in the area is Baclaran Church, situated in front of Aseana Business Park. Thousands of religious flock to this Church every Wednesday in devotion to our Lady of Perpetual Help.
Immediately south of the project is the Marina Baytown Subdivision, also on reclaimed land, which forms part of the Manila Cavite Coastal Road and Reclamation Project (MCCRRP). Currently, this development has already been sold to end-users.
Immediately north of the property is another reclaimed land popularly referred to as Island A, the site of SM Group’s Mall of Asia, The Hobbies of Asia Center, The HK Sun Plaza and the Metrobank’s-Toyota Showcase building and Bay Gardens Residential Condominiums. Further north is the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Folk Arts Theatre, Philippine Plaza Hotel, Philippine World Trade Center, Philippine International Convention Center, and Philcite.
I saw an Aseana Ave. (not Aseana City)@ the corner of Roxas Blvd. & Diosdado Macapagal Blvd., it dead ends @ Manila Bay, and it’s near or besides the New Nayong Pilipino. So from Edsa, it would be passing Baclaran Church and before reaching Tambo.

//@ronron: when you get to R.O.X. to register, you may want to ask if there are others who need need one more person so they can avail of the promo…one more thing, since race kits are not available at the moment, you need to get the person’s phone number so that by next week when he picks the race kits, you can meet up with him to claim yours…

@Karmela: RunnersRunner is hosting an online registration for this. Also when I visited the other day, there was a lot of singlet/shirt already available, so i’m quite sure you can get them right then and there :)

hey how are you? most likely the gun start for 21K would start before 5:30AM coz there are 5 running categories here. so by 6AM – 6:15AM, dpat nakatakbo na tayong lahat by then.

I heard from the staff at R.O.X. that there will be new registrations sites, one in Alabang and another in Eastwood. There is also new reg promo of 5+1, when you reg on site. You can also register online via http://www.runnersrunner.com, who offers free delivery for group of at least 10. If you are less than 10, you may opt to register online and just pickup the racekits at R.O.X. or conveniently deliver it right at your doorstep. Please feel free to choose which is more suitable for you. See you on May 22!!

I went to Cycling Zone Alabang yesterday to register. The female staff said they still don’t have the forms and kits for the Greentennial Run. They are still waiting for it to arrive.
I hope something will be done here. It’s too far for some to go to R.O.X. to register.
may i suggest, there is this online registration through runner’s runner. i registered last week because rox is way far from my place. pati shipping and handling sa kanila ko na rin pinagawa pero you can opt to pick it up at rox. para less time, less hassle and less money involved for gas consuption papuntang bgc pinadeliver ko na lang. 119 php lang ang shipping nila. i paid through the bdo account, may paypal, g cash etc pero walang credit card. they are working out on it pa. check it out guys. hope this info helps.
baket naman wala pang forms sa Cycling Zone Alabang?i’m from sta.rosa and it will really be impractical for me and my wife to go to ROX just to register if i’m already in the Alabang area. way to impractical especially that gas prices nowadays are sky rocketting.napa-reg tuloy ako bigla sa Brooks sa Olympic World. walang talo sa singlet! can’t wait for my 3rd 15k finisher’s medal. before ive join run for japan, i also said to my self that i’ll be joining this marathon but the change of venue, made me think twice….. san ba kc ung aseana city? haha… malapit ba yan sa eastwood city? dami na palang city sa manila…. brooks or greentennial….. im still thinking… cant decide guys help me choose between two events, im running with my friends… and i want them to experience the best event on may22…. which one kaya un sa sa bonifacio global city or sa aseana city?pag di ako nakapili dadalhin ko na lang sila sa eastwood city… gigimik na lang kme… haha ^_^
