  1. Another successful running event! Kudos to unilab and runrio! And eventhough i left my hydration belt sa car, it didn’t matter cause there were plenty of hydration stations. With this, got to complete my 21K without any worries. One of the best tlg runrio! Hope everyone enjoyed their run as well and it made up for the singlet distribution problems… =)

  2. I didnt get to register, but I ran the 15km (as a bandit) No worries.. I didnt take any water from those who paid, I brought my own. From the looks of it.. it seemed like it was a very successful event. All the prerequisites of a Pinoy runner were there.. hydration, not a crampped up and safe route, nice singlet and the two most important..hehe.. photovendo was there and the giveaways (lots of giveaways). Im glad to see runrio and unilab for setting the bar in organizing running events. Kaya dun sa mga trying hard na run organizers (just for the sake of making an event and making a quick buck..) Mahiya naman kayo!.. More power to Runrio.. with you, we are not very far off from the races abroad.. ( I wish I registered..)

  3. You’re the best Rio…. very hands on… all my thumbs up for you… Nice one Runrio, kahit di ko na nakuha singlet ko… wala talaga time to pick up eh…. i just hope na maideliver na lang…. i enjoyed the run….

  4. Galing talaga ng RunRio mag organize, i enjoyed my first 15K and the massage after :-) worth every centavo hindi katulad ng adidas na super palpak, hanggang ngayon di pa nila napopost yung certificate photo ko, ang kapal ng mukha nilang maningil ng P850 sa lahat ng category la naman silang binatbat sa RunRio. Keep up the good work RunRio, more power and more fun runs please…

  6. GRRREEEEAAT 32K run this morning!
Nice route for 32 & 15 and proper timing so runners won’t get cramped up in any specific area of the route.
    WOW!
    Keep it up coach.
    ‘Til next time Unilab.

  7. I really enjoyed my 1st 10k.lots of water stations and cool freebies.it’s worth it though we encountered problems regarding the race kit distribution.I suggest though to improve on the traffic management.it really gets into my nerves when I have to stop to give way to vehicles.another,it makes me cough when I smell emissions of the vehicles.gives me difficulty in breathing.

  8. great events… fully organized.. enough hydration stations… medics.. ambulances.. all runners are satisfied with this event..

hope more event like this one..

  9. I am a newbie and this is my 2nd 5K run. I enjoyed this race compared to the Adidas KOTR. The event was successful because it was so organized. Coach Rio was so hands on, personally going around and checking everything. You could see that a lot of planning was done to ensure it was worth waking up at 3 am for. Thank you Coach Rio for the awesome photo-op. It was a great bonus to my run!

  10. It was very organized kaso they have limited photo booths and let’s face it, dami peeps gusto magpa-picture no. I waited for 2 hours to have a souvenir since it was my longest run so far (15K) but when I got near, the hard drive they were using for the booth crashed. GRRRR! And I was on my feet since 4am! To make it worse, some of the booths around were packing up and I don’t have a choice but to go home. Such a bummer.

  11. A very successful event. Kudos to RunRio and Unilab. Love the giveaways especially the finisher’s shirt and the bag. Keep it up!! Congrats again. =)

Congratulations to Runrio and Unilab for an outstanding event. It was a nice feeling knowing that every peso we spent on this run was well worth it.

I’m looking forward to next year’s trilogy :)

  13. Good Job! but special mention ang photobooth, sa dami ng runners na ngjoin 3 lang ung photobooth, at while nakapila kmi sa isang photobooth, naubusan pa ng photopaper. T_T

wla kming nagawa, after namin na pumila more than 1:30 hr, pumila ulit kmi. T_T

about sa route at water station, wlang problema.. ayos! ;)

  14. I’d been to Runrio races since last year in Timex, but it’s the first time that I encountered a waterstation with banana. It helped a lot in my performance I know. I survived the 21K without cramps.

  15. The Run United 2 RunRio Trilogy was a success..well organized..from sufficient hydration station, route signs, on time gun start, security, food-sanitation and exhibit hall. I just hope next time there will be more photo booth station to avoid such “lotto” like line.Nevertheless, two thumbs up..I’m looking forward to see the race result (official time result) posted here soon.

  16. I hope Adidas took notes on how to organize a big running event. Congratulations team RunRio and Unilab for THE running event of 2010. Congratulations too to all long distance runners mga idol!

  17. congrats to Coach Rio and his team for a very successful event. it has all the elements of what a running event should have. thanks to the foresight and experience of Coach Rio.

  18. KUDOS! coach rio and unilab for a succesful fun run…my son really enjoyed it…the run with so many hydration station, unlike other run water lang kulang pa…

  19. If this kind of race organize by Unilab/Rio, I’m sure I will finish my 21k below 1hr&42 min next time ( 46 yrs na po ako secret to ha! )

  20. cheers!!!coach Rio and Unilab…Good job!sabi ko nga sa mga fellow runners ko,kahit hindi kayo magdala ng hydration kit, hindi tayo pababayaan ni coach!Talagang bumabaha ng tubig at powerade…Thanks so much,im satisfied with my 21k run and good news i beat my PR(Rexona Run) Yahoo!!!God Bless.

  21. I joined the 3k with friends, was impressed , it was well organized and it really involved the whole family. Looking forward to the next trilogy…More power…Coach Rio, Unilab and RUnRio…

  22. i have a bad experience with a running event who used Rio’s name-blue water day spa. but that’s about it. unilab run 2, as was its first run last March, was such a big success. this is my 3rd 21k and the same with Rio’s Rexona run, the banana item helped me finish the rest of 5k or so of my 21k.

sa mga nagku-comment, halata ang mga newbies-yung mga pumipila sa photo booths hehehehehe! peace to you all… actually, even Drew (Arellano) commented na mas marami pa ang nakapila sa photo booths kesa nanunod sa stage at sa mga game booths hehehe! i won a lot of prizes in this event. unilab, you are one of the best sponsors… next year, pipiliin ko na ang mga runs ko talaga… definitely no no na ang adidas… kayo ang nag-prove na not all expensive thing is worth the thing hehehe!

  24. I joined 15 runs this year. This is best organized fun run ever. No more KOTR for me unless it’s organized by Rio. The bar had been raised, great job to Rio and his crew!!!

Consistent na happy, from 3k runners to 32k.

  25. I’m so thankful that I had my first 15KM run with a RUNRIO as the event organizer.. Still the best and the marathon experience to beat… I had my first 10K run with Rexona Run and it was really great… CONGRATULAIONS Coach Rio! Basta talaga ikaw The Best! Walang masasabi! High Five! Two Thumbs Up! ♥♥♥

  26. Its a great race and well organized!
Thank you for all the volunteers…and i hope next time there will be a CATEGORIZATION for the age level…
kawawa nmn kc ang mga senior…

  28. Congrats!!!!! SUPER Galing ng Runrio and Unilab, very organized, this is what you call FunRun, they really care that’s WHY Runners Enjoy, and ang ganda pa ng singlet worth it sa fee, di gaya ng adidas super sulit ang galing talaga!, sana nga “NO MORE KENYA” Adidas ask the SERVICE of Runrio para may tumakbo pa sa event nio. God bless.

  29. @bug may results na po, saan nakapost?
baka yung unang Unilab United Run for Wellness po ang nakita mo? :)

  31. Conratulations unilab! congrats RUNRIO! ang galing talaga. SULIT ang bayad ng mga runners. Super organised! super efficient! this is should be the standard for all running event organizers, hindi puro kapalpakan at halatang napagkikitaan lang ang mga runners!

  32. Kudos to Unilab & RUNRIO Team!!! Well done! A standard to keep up with when organizing & planning a running event. Worth every peso paid for & getting up at 3am. I sincerely hope that other organizers would take note, learn & apply in their event. Thank you to all the volunteers who took their jobs seriously & made this event a success. Hats off to you all.

  33. This was a great run! The best I had this year! Daming hydration stations, daming give-aways, daming gimmik. COngratulations Unilab at Runrio! :-)

  34. congratulations Coach Rio for a job well done..

ndi kami nkapagpa-picture sa photobooth pero ok lng kz may photobooth din nmn ang Revicon & I-ON, dun na lng kmi bumawi.. thanks a lot din dahil sa Freshen up Station, nawala khit pano lagkit sa katawan pagkatapos tumakbo…

More events to come, sure na tatakbo ulit kmi ng hubby ko…

  35. Kudos to Coach Rio,his Team and Unilab…so far the best run for 2010, very organized and lots of hydration stations..may free banana pa :)Thanks for making my first 15k run memorable and most of all FUN!!!!

  36. another successful fun run for RunRio… well organized yung event, as I’ve seen last Saturday many partcipant enjoyed the whole race and even the recreation activities (kahit dko npuntahan lahat sobrang haba ng pila eh). the only problem that we encountered was the distribution of Health Kit according to MS. ANA during the race sya mkukuha and yet during the event wala daw instruction :( sayang lang effort ko from laguna to manila just to claim the health kit anyways I enjoyed the whole event…

  37. Congratulations RUNRIO and UNILAB. This is my Nth long run but 1st without hydration belt. I want to run 42km without hydration belt. Let’s have 32km for the first 2 legs and 42km on the 3rd leg next year.

  38. ok ang event. first time ko sumali and I enjoyed it a lot kahit na lapit na lumawit dila ko (lol) 5k lang yon ha. more training pa. Go coach Rio!!! Go!!!

  39. I ran my second half-marathon in this event and it was GREAT!!! You really have to hand it over to Coach Rio de la
Cruz for such an ORGANIZED, SYSTEMATIC, DEATH-FREE (ehem Milo run ehem)and literally a water-drenched running event!!! Sa dami ng water stations at sponges, there’s no way any runner would be dehydrated!!! Way to go Coach! Basta organized by Runrio, expect it to be the best!=)

  40. Aside from the well organized AVON run, this run rio event is also one of the best. Proud to be bicolano…

  41. got my 15k results!… dahil magaling ang organizer, yung unang half mary ko would be with runrio.

  42. Anybody here who registered at ROX last Oct 11, 2010 when the system was apparently “down”? I did and now my name is not in the list but my bib number is, therefore, my registration was not entered completely.

  44. @fresh – tama! ako din wala kahit isang kuha. Tumakbo pa naman ako ng 20 & 21. sabi pa naman na ‘o look back’ look back naman ako sabay thumbs-up, yun pala wala din hahahahaha..tapos sabi nong isang photographer, ‘o mam madami ka ng pics sakin’ … yun pala wala din kahit isa :=)) sa photovendo na lang ako mag-aantay ..

  45. Great event. My first run after laying off the run circuit for 3 years. I can not really make comparison dahil iba yung time “namin” e, hehehe. Judging from the comments I read here, RunRio is now the standard. Good that I am doing the RUN BGC this weekend which is also being spearheaded by Coach Rio para me validation. But as far as having the Kenyans off the events, I disagree. It sounds defeatist to not be challenged by their capability. Maganda nga that they are here to raise the bar for us. Otherwise, our best will not be as good. Its a free world folks. Masarap manalo pag me challenge.

  46. hi kindly correct the name of BIB # 4529 from Manuel to Samuel (15k)di pa rin pala nachange ng New Balance-Edsa Shangrila..thanks a lot!

  47. good pm Sir, i checked the 15k result no name ,rank 652 sex male ,bib# 4355, kindly put name Richard Sun,gun time 01:47:42:06 All fun run result i collect and filed especially UNILab.

  48. wow!!!!!!!!!!! amazing how I rank 35 @ 15k…….IT WAS SO MAZING HOW I “I” BELIEVE TO MY SELF THAT I CANT GET OVER THE SAID RUN,……..

“HOW COACH RIO BELIEVED ON US”

    TNXS

  50. Haay…2nd time the photovendo guy missed me on a RunRio event :(

wala ako pics ng Rexona and this run too..

Well, anyway, had a great run ;) The best talaga RunRio, all praises in this page are no exaggerations!

  51. Kainis I can’t find any pictures of me from Photovendo! I’m pretty sure they were able to take a picture of me when I was running. Sayang that’s a souvenir sana. I hope they’re not done uploading the pictures yet. But good job to coach Rio for the very organized event. All hands up! :)
