what’s included in the race kit? is there a timing chip for this race? :)

also, how many macbooks will be raffled off? :P

included in the race kit is the singlet, and race bib with pins. We will be using bar codes to get your time so there will be no timing chip.

As for the raffle, we will be giving away 3 MacBooks, 2 iPod Touch, 2 iPod Nano, and 3 iHome speakers. We also have special awards where we will be giving away LaCie Hard Drives, LaCie Speakers, and overnight stays in Makati Shangri-La for 2. :) So Register na!!! :)

@chix Are you part of the organizing team? So far, so good. The singlet is ok, not bad at all for the fee. What is amusing though is that runners are getting early “giveaways” like the umbrella I got from Anson’s and I heard that towels and coin purses were given out during the Adobo run registration. At least there’s something di ba unlike other many runs. That being said, can we expect more goodies after the run, aside from the raffle? :)

Our Raffle prizes and Special awards will the high light of the event. Since the Run is all about Gadgets, we feel that if ever we are giving away stuff during the event, it should be gadgets. Sadly, since gadgets are quite expensive, we can not give everyone for free. So we made it a point to give away as many raffle prizes and special awards as possible. My brother and I regisgtered early for a 10K last Oct 23 in Mizuno at Boni High but we did not receive any giveaway items. Then we saw at Adobo Run that registration came with some giveaways. This is quite unfair for the early registrants like us.
Though there’s a lot of raffle prizes to be excited with, the idea of giveaways that is not equal to all registrants seems unacceptable for me considering we registered earlier for the event.

@chix – bakit yung ipods lang ang *new*? are the other gadgets old/used? :P

@Jude: Sorry for the inconvenience but you and your brother should have gotten a freebie from Mizuno Boni High Street. If its ok with you, you may go back to Mizuno BHS and ask for your freebie. Apparently, the Mizuno guys are forgetting to give the freebie to the registrants.

@trix: New model iPods just came out last month so I indicated that the ones that we are giving away are the *new* models. The other prizes are of course the current models and definitely brand new.

First, I just saw how ecstatic the finisher’s medal is from a separate post. Next, from the same survey at this site, Anson’s Rhythm and Run has the highest rating of quantified runners against all funruns that was scheduled this Nov.14.

With this regard, I hope that the finisher’s medal will be given to all runners fairly – be it 3,5 or 10K. I presume also that the medals will not run out for all the 10K runners who will surely arrive late as compared to the other distances. Please consider this.

Finisher medals will be fairly given to ALL 10K Finishers (as promised and advertised) that is the reason why 10K registration FEES are higher than the 3K and 5K FEES.

Last day of our extension is today actually. However, you may register on-site during the run itself. It would be good if you already fill up your registration form for faster processing when you register on-site.
