Inevents Production brings you The Urban Duathlon 2010 which features a Run-Bike-Run affair with two(2) sub-categories for people using Mountain Bikes and Road Bikes, the event will take place in Tiendesitas, Frontera Verde, Pasig City on May 16, 2010.

this maybe my first time i would be joining a duathlon. i'm more into cycling and just been to running once in a while. where i'd be qualified to enter? novice or beginner?

Attn: Race organizer.. suggestions lang po on the Race Map: Point out famous landmarks and perhaps indicate an arrow where the North points too. Even the name of the street/road/avenue is written over by the colored pen. Thank you
will the roads be closed to traffic- particularly the dona juliana/meralco ave intersection?

THIS IS ONE THE WORST ORGANIZATION EVER. NO MARSHALS ON THE ACCIDENT PRONE STRETCH, WE WERE CUT OFF BY JEEPNEYS AND CABS. THE ROUTES WERE NOT MARKED WELL. WE WERE GIVEN A MAP THOUGH BUT WHEN WE WERE THERE THE MARSHALS MADE US GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS WAS REALLY REALLY BAD. BUT TO THE ORGANIZERS THANKS STILL FOR THE EVENT, IMPROVE THE NEXT ONE AND PLEASE MAKE IT AN EARLIER START IF SCHEDULE IS IN THE SUMMER.
I agree. Marshals disappeared after the first lap. All that was left were the blue police who were being yelled at because they did not know the direction as well. Ended up doing all my laps (including the bike part) in the same loop. My friend had to U-turn to get back on track. twice I was almost run over by a jeep while I was avoiding the parked ones. None of the marshals knew how many laps each person did so I could have easily gone on without completing my two lap bike if I wanted to. I think that there was another race going on in the same area as well which made it even more confusing.
Sayang, it was starting up to be a good one pa naman. I hope the organizers try it again though, and go over their mistakes. Please let us know where we can view the results.
