Love A Tree Year 3 – International Trail Marathon which will be held in the mountains of Sierra Madre in Daraitan, Tanay, Rizal. It aims once more to bring to the attention of the people the importance of protecting and conserving our environment, forests, and mountains. Sierra Madre in Tanay is the nearest forest reservations in Metro-Manila and last defense of the megacity against destructive typhoons. Your participation will help in our reforestation project and in spreading awareness to the Sierra Madre protection and conservation cause.

Love A Tree is part of the trail running racing circuit, organized and managed by Pimco Sporting Events.

Pimco Sporting Events has pioneered trail running racing in the Sierra Madre of Tanay, the Trail Running Capital of the Philippines.

  1. gusto ko sana kaya lang wala bang pang beginner, kahit 10k, nagka climb ako, pero 1st time ko maeexerperience tong sa trail running =) hehe

  2. i called up ROX BGC, hindi raw po sa kanila ang registration. i also called those 2 numbers posted in this announcement. both globe and sun numbers are not working.

  3. if i don’t have a trail shoes, can a simple running shoes be ok for the 15k trail run? btw, i’m a newbie for this one as well, would you think i can survive this? =)

    • mas ok pa rin ang trail shoes unless you’re a pro..yes you may survive but the chances of wrecking your shoes and may injure yourself.

      • the shoes did survive, but was really afraid it would wreck itself on the downhill segments. btw, i also did survive =) well next time, i’d use a recommended one. i did had fun on the uphill and especially the downhill, scary but was fun.

  4. nice one @allanp panalo yung event, routa..comment ko lang bakit iisa ang station na may saging? take note 32k po eto at trail, pang support din sana sa mga mananakbo..madaming naligaw sa 32k nung umpisa..kulang sa visible na signage.
